Cask, Occasional;
A strong, well-hopped ale. Powerful golden coloured beer with a fruity, citrus nose and flavour. A veritable Hop Bomb, with over a kilo of hops per brewers barrel, it avoids being too bitter with a skillful blend of American hops, making this a beer to be reckoned with. Handle with caution. Silver Medals at Reading Beer Festival 2007 and Peterborough Beer Festival 2006, as well as at SIBA SE Competition 2008 & 2009.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon, light malty, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration and a nice balance. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

[email protected] Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is nectar, sweet fruits, mildly acidic citrusfruity notes as well as apricot and wood. Flavour is wood, acidic fruitys and quite much puke... Not very pleasant in the flavour.

8th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Clear golden beer. Sharpish palate. Some IPAish hops and some wheaty malt. Bitterish finish. Difficult to pin down.

Bottle at home in London. My first bottle from this brewery. Quite lively out of the bottle. Huge head that really lasts. Lots of bready malts in the aroma, some ripe orange. Medium sweet with mild alcohol bump, some ripe citrus fruits, a bit of pine and orange rind bitterness, doughy bread. Medium to full bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Warming finish with more bready malts, orange meringue, citrus hops, pine, mild leaves, hints of honey. Tasty beer. Like a hoppy English strong ale.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 16/11/12. Lightly hazed mid blonde with a thin white head. Nose is caramel, floral tones, orange, mango, hops. Tastes of sweet grapefruit, mango, candied sugar, hops, light pine. Fuller end of medium bodied, soft carbonation.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2007. I missed out on this at Reading so decided to have it here. Gold with slight haze, very thin white head. Slight fart, overridden by hop on aroma. Very decent in mouth, good sherberty US hop. Doesn’t drink it’s strength. Good hop finish. Very citrusy. Not a bad beer, needs a bit more body.

Evening session at GBBF ’11 while listen to The Chris Jagger Band at the main stage. One-third pint, hand pulled cask, at The Nightingale Bar. Crystal clear amber, shiny surface. Citrus fruits to the nose. Bitter hoppy fruits in flavour that lingers for quite a while. Sweet malty backbone, however, mostly bitter throughout. Medium bodied. Above par for the British ales at the festival (London, 03.08.2011).

Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2008
Draught. Low white fluffy and quickly disappearing off-white head. Clear golden body. Acidic lemon aroma and flavor with little hops bitternes. Low carbonation and a short aftertaste.
