COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special.
A glorious golden ale brewed with Australian and New Zealand hops. Unfortunately for the antipodeans its not available to them during their warmer months, but luckily for us it’s a chance to taste a bit of the summer to keep us going through the cold!

Cask conditioned handpump Masque Haunt London 20/01/14. A bright golden beer with a bright white head. A bit sickly. Definite citrus but it’s all a bit disjointed and sweet. Aroma has nice hoppy notes but falls well short in the mouth.

Cask at Woody’s in Kingston. Biscuity malt, some pepper, citrus, dust and a dry hop finish. Taste lingers around nicely. Good golden ale.

Cask at Pratts and Payne, Streatham. Pours a cloudy pale orangey yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma has light malts, lemon and some floral notes. Light body, a touch thin, mild carbonation. Toasted white bread, very light caramel, lemon, grass and a grapefruity finish which sticks around. OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bree Louise. Cask. Clear pale gold beer with a small white head. Palate is light and smooth with modest fine carbonation. Nice mix of light floralness and mellow grapefruit notes. Whisper of lime marmalade. Tiny hint of sulphur, not enough to be a problem. Light smooth finish. Good.

Cask at the William Webb Ellis, Twickeroony, 11/01/14. Clear golden with a good sized white head that thins and retains well, some lacing ensues. Nose carries floral hops, citrus, melon, soft bread dough, lemon rind, light orange squash, straw. Taste comprises lemon sherbet, orange pithdom, floral twang, hint of grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying finale with grassy bitterness and citric tang. Decent GB affair.

Cask at the Magpie. Golden, with a fresh hoppy aroma. A full malty body gives way to a an almost chilli-like sharply bitter and hot hoppy bite that’s lasting and has a floral edge.
