A crisp and hoppy session bitter. Amber malt provides a pleasant biscuity edge to this pale golden-coloured ale. A blend of English and American hops add a wonderfully floral and citrus-like, long dry finish. Silver Medal in the Bitters category at the Great British Beer Silver award in the Bitter category at Great British Beer Festival 2007.

The_Osprey (8216) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2013
Aug 2012 - pint in Richmond. Not my type of bitter really - a bit too light, not enough depth of flavour or body.

[email protected] on the strand, London - Gold/orange pour with a light/small white head. Light crisp citrus fruit and light malt character with a bitter finish, pretty refreshing drop this.

Cask at the Happy Man, Englefield Green - 17/08/12. Clear golden blonde. Sweet nose with hops and pale malts. Taste follows nose, nothing too exciting here. Light to medium in body, wettish beer with a slightly peppery finish.

mikkellund42 (859) - DENMARK - JAN 18, 2012
Cask. Pours clear yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt and bitter hopes. Taste is heavy bitter and body is flat and watery. Finish is medium long with notes of citrus.

In cask al Market Porter, Londra, una golden ale potabile ma niente di davvero speciale

From cask. Pours clear and golden golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and light malty. Crisp hoppy, citric and slight bitter into a dry and slight herbal finish. Ends bitter and light fruity.

kwik-lime (1978) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2011
Dry, earthy bitterness with grassy hops and some hints of biscuit. Really nice session ale.

Cask somewhere, maybe at the London Drinker. (Honestly, my notes don’t have the location, but I know I didn’t have this in bottle.) Pours clear gold with a foamy, tough head. Crispy malt nose. Light sweet flavor, good biscuit character, touches of bitter straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Decent finish, kind of flickers out, fades away a bit too quickly. Still, very drinkable and nice. (OK, I’m pretty sure I had this at the London Drinker.)
