Our Route 52 derives it's name from the First State's very first scenic by-way. The community is rich in history, art and beauty. Our location and historic setting inspires us to craft a beer that reflects our heritage. With pure deep rock well water and full flowered hops Twin Lakes is a light golden Pilsner lager beer . Clean crisp and very drinkable Route 52 brew will soon become the local favorite.

nimbleprop (8927) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 3, 2014
16oz pour at Paradiso Dupont. Pours a clear gold with some sudsy head and a lot of apparent carbonation. Nose is sugary, some grass, some malt, metal. Flavors are the same, artificial sweetener, lemon, grass. Clean finish.

auerbrau (3206) - Ithaca, New York, USA - MAY 2, 2014
On tap at Pizza Paradiso - Dupont Circle, Washington, DC. Dough, grass, and light cracker aroma. This is a relatively solid pilsner, mostly appreciable due to its freshness, lager cleanliness, and breadth of flavors. Hops are noticeable mid-palate with a bit of flowery bite, pairing nicely with an almond skin, cooked pasta, and bread crust quality. Refreshing and snappy. Not particularly deep or nuanced, but workable.

tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 15, 2013
Draft at JBs. Pours a cloudy pale gold with thin head and mild lace. Nose of grassy hops, lemon, hay. Medium body, slightly oily. Sweet with only mild hop bitterness.

joeyplush (648) - Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 11, 2009
On tap at Buckleys in Greenville. Found the aroma to be grainy for a pilsener. color is gold with an average white head. There is a bit of lemony hop in the taste but the finish is on the grainy side.

RedSox2004 (2000) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - AUG 17, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2008 On tap at Cromwells in Wilmington. Light golden color, one-finger head with nice lacing. Light hops aroma and flavors with a nice balance of sweetness from the malts. Soft on the palate like a good pilsener should be. Lots of carbonation and a pleasantly bitter hops aftertaste.

Cruzan59 (197) - Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 26, 2008
Draft at Catch 54 Fish House, Fenwick Island, DE...pours yellowish-amber, white head...light grassy aroma, some citrus...flavor was much of the same, mild hops, crisp, refreshing...nothing major, but drinkable...decent summer beer.
