2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2011 Subdued citrus.. maybe orange peel on the smell. Typical IPA appearance, nothing special. Tastes like a weaker version of a 60 minute IPA with more citrus and just a hint of creaminess, although not as complex. Decent beer.
Draft at McGlynn's Newark, DE. Hazy straw with hops in the nose, tastes of pale malt, hops, medium to lighter body and palate heft. RedSox2004 (2000) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - AUG 17, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Clear golden amber with a one finger bright white head and nice lace. Bready malt aromas with orange and lemon highlights. Flavors are similar, with a caramel malt sweetness up front followed by citrusy hops and a touch of pine. Medium body, moderate carbonation, sticky mouthfeel, and lingering caramel in the finish. On tap at Deer Park Tavern. Poured a light copper color with a medium white head. Faint citrus aroma with a doughy background. Flavor follows the aroma with a slight drying bitterness through the finnish. Smooth light to medium body with medium carbonation. Nicely balanced and easy to drink, middle of the road brew.
