22oz bomber pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up banana, mild roasted malts, some sweet malts and then a bit of an oak note. The taste has smooth subtly sweet banana mixing with pear and apple like fruity esters. To midway an oak note joins in and helps take this to the finish. Pretty tasty barleywine. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 25, 2014

Sampled at GABF 2013. Pours a clear gold with some creamy, white head. Odd nose, trashy, malty, corn, malt liquor, smoke. Flavor is a little better, malt, honeycomb, smoke, some earthy mushrooms. Clean finish. DocJitsu (1974) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Pours a crystal clear classic golden color with a quickly evaporating off white head. Sweet pilsenerish nose. Pretty astringent mouthfeel. Metallic, Belgian dubbel flavors with a primarily sweet taste. Nothing special.

Hazy orange, moderate to small head, light lace/retention. Aroma is sweet pale malt, oak, fairly fruity, light wheat. Medium to full bodied, sweet moutfeel, slightly sugary. mjg74 (3106) - La Mesa, California, USA - SEP 5, 2013
Bomber from Valley Farm Market. Medium amber/ orange in color. Pretty slick looking pour. Minimal head. Nose is sweet and quire fruity with a bit of alcohol. A little dark fruit as well. Somewhat sweet with some grapefruit peel bitterness. Decent flavoring, just not as flavorful as I’d like. Easy to sip but not a whole lot going on.
