[ As Twisted Manzanita Danger Ranger ].
Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, pine, hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, hoppy, caramel, pine - orange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150227]

Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is wooden, floral, some herbal and rather sweet hoppy and malty notes. Flavour is very similar in a good balance, but also gets a nice kick of the alcohol in it.

Looks beautiful in the glass with a nice amber-brown color and a big pillowy beige head. Aroma and taste of bitter pine set in a caramel malt base. Decent but not mind blowing.

It pours an almost clear body, amber in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is quite malty and bready, with some caramel sauce and quite a lot of piney, resiny hops. Some alcohol notes. It’s full-bodied and with a nice carbonation level. Semi-sweet. Caramel sauce, bread crust and a nice bitterness to deal with the sweetness. A touch of alcohol warmth towards the malty, bitter end. Rather nice this one, but I wouldn’t object to even more hops. 150227

Bottle at Carnival Tasting in Ulfborg 2015-02-27. Clear copper/amber beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy fruity aroma, berries, hay, caramel notes, floral, some grass. Hoppy caramel flavor, hay, floral, bready, some metal and grainy notes.

ABUSEDGOAT (2769) - California, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Hazy reddish amber, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, chewy caramel, alcohol. Full bodied, lightly sticky, fairly sweet but there’s enough of a hop character to keep things balanced.

2.5
dhunter151 (590) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - MAY 3, 2014
22oz bottle. Pours a dark mahogany with a white head. Citrus, pine, malty, syrupy, strong bitterness. Too malty for my liking. Finish was soapy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
