Clear orange reddish pour with a thin off white head .... Aroma is of clove, cinnamon and a sweet syrupy/maltyness as well .... Taste is of light spices/cinnamon and clove and sweet syrup and sweet malts .... Has a slight bitter hop bite on the back end .... Finish has a lingering sweet malt and light spices..... Recipe Needs some help. Spices come out more as it warms. bergstaden (2990) - Røros, NORWAY - AUG 14, 2015

October 5th, 2013 - I first found Witch’s Hair on a North Park beer walk. Tucked way back into a curio store was a small set-up, pouring samplers of the Witch’s Hair for those wandering far enough off the path to earn it. My camera failed me that day, but the senses were heightened and ware. The scent is spicy, creamy and sweet, like a pumpkin ice cream, and the flavor brings much of the same. Lots of pumpkin pie spices and clove at the head push the flavor, which is dry, yet slightly sweet at the same time. And the aftertaste? I’ll quote my notes: "Clove clovey clove clove." Lots of clove, but not gross. Just strong. Great autumnal brew, and better than most heavily seasoned brews I know. Beerdedone (3408) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2015

12oz can @ KBF 2014. Pours a murky dark amber color with a slightly off-white head. Smells of pumpkin pie along with a nice spicy earthy hop aroma. Taste has strong vegetal notes accompanied by yam and pumpkin, along with light spice and notes of nutmeg and allspice. The body is medium with a moderate carbonation and a pretty dry finish.

Draft at Union Kitchen and Tap - Encinitas, CA. Pours orange-amber with a foamy, off-white head. Pretty hefty stuff, lots of syrupy sugars, booze, moderate spices. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Hot finish with ripe pumpkin, alcohol, cloying sugary sweetness. So so. jonnyguns (1105) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 10, 2014
Draft at The Local Eatery & Water Hole, San Diego. Fuck load of pumpkin and cinnamon spice in the nose. Taste is more over powered by the cinnamon spice. Pumpkin flavours slightly muddled. Average stuff.
