This American Amber Ale is a medium bodied beer with good hop character. The aroma is moderately hoppy, moderately malty, and lightly yeasty. The beer’s texture starts off crisp and effervescent, and becomes a little thicker – and perhaps even chewier – toward the finish. Goes great with a barbecued burger, which brings out some of the beer’s woodsy and earthy notes.

emacgee (4704) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Pours a soft and hazy light copper amber with one finger of soft khaki tan head. Nose is meh, malt dominant with a light sweetness and hints of toasty grain. Flavor is a bit rough on the edges with a lightly toasty note and slick metallic hops.

Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 25, 2014
What a disappointing mixed 12 pack. Another barely marginal beer. Fruity, chalky, light earthy hops, touch roast.

fidelis83 (2498) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - MAY 6, 2014
Clear dark amber pour with a thin, soapy beige head. Aroma is toast, nutty notes, over ripe tree fruit, a little toffee and spicy hops. Flavor is roasted nut skins, caramel, spicy and grassy hops, and some planty and bitter citrus hops to the finish. Light body with a syrupy, slightly astringent feel and medium, sharpish carbonation. Not bad overall.

Nekronos (4174) - Xalapa, MEXICO - MAR 25, 2014
Not bad but neither too flavoury. Quite thin and decent to drink. Enjoyable with a movie it is.

Dogbrick (13564) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Pours a clear dark amber color with a medium foamy white head that diminishes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, hops and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, earthy hops and fruit. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. Average overall.

UncleKorm (1335) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Bottle poured a clear light amber w/ a medium creamy beige head slowly diminishing to a thin cap w/ some lacing. Medium malty aroma. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a light bitter finish of short duration. Tastes are toast, cereal, and brown sugar. Light bodied, watery texture, and soft carbonation.

wlajwl (7013) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Aroma is caramel malts and mild earthiness. The flavor is caramel malts, earthiness bordering on dirty and a tangy finish.

maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAY 28, 2013
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a smallish white head. Nose is a little toasty with a bit of bread in there. Taste is quite malty with the toasting elements coming through. Not a huge fan of this.

Dodgrblu (750) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 4, 2013
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Sacramento, grassy, nothing to this one. Slight breadiness on the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BVery (11239) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Bottle. Orange amber pour with a smaller head. Dusty earthy nose. There’s actually a little hop profile on the taste - not bad. Palate is so-so.
