Poured from tap to glass. Slightly hazy straw hue with white head. Aroma is huge chilis, jalapeños, seranos, straw. Mouthfeel is nice with a light body and good carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a spiciness throughout the finish and lingering in the back of my throat. Overall this is a great chili beer with a log of depth! Damnit. Why am I doing this. From the first ounce out of the bottle I know I am not going to enjoy this. Nose is all peppers, but there is a depth of pepper variety. Taste is, well, close to vomit in my opinion. Not quite vomit, but close. All peppers, with an extremely bad beer base. Two sips and the rest is bye bye. Hazy gold pour with a somewhat thin, soapy off white head. Aroma is loaded with earthy, fruity, earthy and toasty pepper notes along with some roasted pepper notes and a slight malty sweetness. Flavor is pretty much the same but with a lot of chili membrane flavor thrown in and less roasted chili than the aroma. Light to medium body with a slick feel up front, a moderate capsaicin heat, light, blanketing and persistent carbonation and slightly goopy finish, that is probably from my body throwing lots of saliva in there in response to the heat. Meh, not great over all, but I could see it going well to compliment certain meals, mostly fatty American style Mexican food, though chunky curry stews or even sashimi could be interesting accompaniments. Big chili aroma, both kind of a vegetable aroma plus a smokey aroma as well. Flavor is green chili and smoked chili, plus some heat. Kind of tasty, actually.

Pours a pale light yellow, light flakes and with almost no way of producing a head. Aromas of peppers (green and banana peppers LOL) with some grain and almost reminds of a sweet pepper sauce (duck sauce?). Flavors of green chiles, green pepper and light grain. Can’t drink this one to fast! Mostly the peppers dominate on the aromas and flavors. The heat is medium but can increase fast if to much is drank all at once. I must be in the minority to be one to appreaciate a pepper beer. Pours a hazed medium yellow. Pepper aroma,roasted red pepper,pepper vegetable. Taste is smooth then pepper then some heat on your lips back of throat and upfront some. Has some malt but pepper overpowers most any malt flavors. Good heat. I like it though I would like to say its hard to finish one sometimes and I wouldn’t have more than one and on occasion. I think it would go good with a hotdog and would like to try it with tacos. Bottle. Pours a gold body with some small chunkies floating about under a fizzy white head that vanished immediately. The nose is a full on assault of chili peppers, smells like a freshly cut jalapeño. Zero malt makes it past all these peppers. The flavor is pretty well the same as the aroma, lots of chili pepper and minimal pale malt. The finish is actually pretty hot and burns a bit in the back of the throat. I can tell this guy is going to give me some heartburn. It’s not up there with Ghost Face Killah, but it’s much more aggressive than some of the other chili beers I’ve had. Man do I hate chili beers. Don’t know why I even gave this a chance. Tastes just like a jalapeno pepper; has a late spiciness. This is not a flavor I like in beers and I will never seek it again. HOrrible but interesting. good to make a Michelada with it. NOt much features but strong chilli’s taste.
