This is a great stout. Very smooth and creamy on the palate, with a nice balanced burnt malt profile. Loved it. dfinney23 (3250) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 23, 2012
Pours stout dark with a thin tan head. Sweet and creamy with dark chocolate and roasted coffee notes. Very smooth. geeklimit (291) - USA - JAN 6, 2012
Pours an opaque black with a minimal head that laced the glass. Aroma is of dark chocolate and espresso aroma. Taste is a heavy chocolate malt with a light coffee taste. Palate is minimal carbonation in a thick syrup. Aftertaste is a dry dark chocolate with a sticky finish. onceblind (9419) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 14, 2011
Tap @ brewery. Black with a thin light tan head. Big aroma of dark chocolate and chewy dark maltiness with a nice tone of Hostess cream filling. Taste is big and malty, smooth and sweet. Chocolaty with a touch of cream, black malts, and a smooth malty roasty finish. adnielsen (10605) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - NOV 11, 2011

Pours dark brownish black with tan head, aroma has notes of roast, some dark chocolate, coffee, slight lactose notes. Taste is nice and roasty, some slight dark fruit, coffee, chocolate notes, touch of caramel in there finishing bitter. Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - AUG 6, 2011
12oz bottle pours very dark with short lived mocha head. The aroma has dark roasted malts to burnt malts, dark fruity esters, a bit of anise, chocolate malts and earthiness too. The taste is a mix of dark roasted malts moving into burnt malts and coffee. Behind those notes are murmurs of chocolate and molasses. Into the finish itís pretty much on the burnt malts side. Nice tasting brew and maybe the one I like the most so far from this brewery. riversideAK (6260) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 11, 2011
Somewhat rosaty nose with light sweetness as well. Pours dark brown, not much in the way of head or lace. The flavor is roasty up front with a decent lactose sweetness, smooth notes, light dark chocolate notes. Medium light carbonation, smooth, easy to drink. One of the better beers, dark and toasty with burnt chocolate and some wooden aftertones. As with the name itís slightly creamy at the end. Gives a bit of warmth too nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 7, 2011
The aroma is heavily toasted malt with chocolate, coffee, and brown sugar. The appearance is dark brown with a small tan head. The taste is like the aroma except itís dry and not sweet. The palate is average for the style. Overall I am a little disappointed that itís so dry.
