Bottle @home (rating backlog). Pours golden, white head. Nose is big chilli, spices, capsicum, vegetables, massive chilli burn just from the nose. Taste is more of the same with a chilli burn that hurts. MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 3, 2017
Bottle, brought back from Florida. Been wanting to try this for years, finally was able to pick up a bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a quickly disappearing white head. Carbonation levels seem high, as bubbles keep rising to the surface. Aroma of roasted chilies and saison yeast, fruity peppery notes not much else. Flavor starts off quite bittersweet with hints of the smoked peppers, but after that there is nothing more going on but hotness from the peppers. Very hot, most likely one of the hottest beers I’ve had. Certainly not one of the hottest things I’ve consumed. The fruitness of the peppers are noticeble right before the burn start. Carbonation is nice high, aftertaste is not there, besides a burning sensation. Does exactly what it says it should do, very hot, scorching but nothing special overall. Bottle. Excited to finally try this. Light yellow color. Aroma is freshly cut peppers, green vegetables. Heat on the nose. Jalapeño aroma. No head retention. Flavor is of a spicy jalapeño, burning over the palate, fresh peppers, lingering heat on the finish....and well into the finish. One dimensional, just.....burning. Clear gold with a white head.
Aroma of peppers.
First sip is hot, lip and tongue tingling burning hot.
As the heat fades there is a bit of chili flavor which isn’t bad actually.

Not much aroma. Taste is light pepper. Burns strong and much pepper. Not balanced and very Perot herbal.

Drank from a pint glass, poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Purchased in Warwick, NY. Unfiltered, pours golden with white head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of chiles, mostly habaneros. Tastes like I’m drinking a chile pepper. Not a fan, and I’m a big chile person, I do enjoy a chile beer, that doesn’t burn out your palate. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - MAR 16, 2016
Bottle. Yellow pour. This may be the worst smelling beer I’ve ever smelled. Pepper, heat, gross. psycho69 (1) - Kansas, USA - MAR 7, 2016 does not count
for fire brands only makes the chili beer from cave creek brewing taste like a fire ball candy. edgallow (4362) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 26, 2015
Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malts and peppers. Taste is peppers, too hot for my taste. Pyrmir (6196) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2015
Bottle sample on the bus home from SMÖF, thanks! Dark amber with mocca head. Aroma has loads of chilies, coffee and roasted/burnt notes. Taste is very spicy, nice chili notes, roasted, bready. Chili drenches almost everything. Interesting rather than good. Hard to rate.
