Dark clear brow with a ring or beige head. Aroma is lightly sweet, malty, and, oddly enough, skunk. Not sure how or why since this is on draught. Medium mouth that wants to be creamy but just isn't. Flavor is light on the earthy tones, sweet malts, maybe very light honey but not really. It's drinkable and decent but not worth round two. Finhead (1761) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - AUG 14, 2012
Clear brown pour with some reddish edges and a frothy, tan head. The aroma has honey with some chocolate. It has a medium body with a soft texture and average carbonation. The sweetness of the taste lingers in the finish for quite a while. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 28, 2012
A sweet beer, but not overwhelmingly so. Honey, caramel, and brown sugar are evident. Light bodied, a bit bland. Decent head with a slick texture. Bif (2245) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Bottle- Pours a clear mahogany color with a nice head that fades ery slowly with ample lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some nuts, chocolate and caramel sweetness. There is just a bit of honey sweetness in the background. Taste of roasted malt with some nuts and bit of dark chocolate and caramel sweetness. There is a mild bitterness and the finish is clean with just a bit of lingering honey sweetness. Medium body, crisp and well carbonated. Nice beer, much better than I expected. The honey adds a bit of character the the beer without overpowering the style. Worth checking out. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAY 14, 2012
The beer pours a brown color with a tan head. The aroma is very sweet, with a lot of dark fruit, honey and caramel malt notes. The flavor is also very sweet. I get some nice honey and cherry notes, as well as some toffee, caramel and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with small off white head that diminishes quicky to nothing. The aroma is caramel malt and raisin. Thin mouthfeel with rich malt and chocolate with sweet finish. Easy to drink a good brown ale from Twisted Pine. dfinney23 (3269) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 22, 2012
12oz bottle pours clear cola brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of toast and a little earthiness. Rich and malty taste with a bittersweet chocolate finish. Good stuff. corby112 (2804) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 19, 2011
Draft at the brewpub.
Pours a hazy dark brown color with a one finger off-white head that quickly fades into a thin ring. minimal lacing.
Slighty toasty aroma with dark malt notes and subtle crisp hops. Hints of toast, toffee, nut and caramel but I’m not picking up any honey.
Medium bodied and slightly roasted with some dark malts and faint sweetness. Hints of toast, caramel, cocoa, hazelnut and toffee along with subtle honey flavor. Toward the end of the palate there is a crisp hop bite that adds a touch of bitterness to the finish. onceblind (9631) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 14, 2011
Tap @ brewery. Clear light brown, almost dark orange, very thin head. Has an aroma of wildflower honey and typical brown ale malts. Taste is nice with toasted chewy brown cereal malts, some honey, and faint chocolatyness. Not bad, just not great. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - NOV 11, 2011
