Clear brownish copper. Not much going on in the nose - some caramel. Palate is very light, mild carbonation. Not much flavor - very light caramel. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - OCT 12, 2007
(Bottle) Pours a brown color with a small tan head. Aroma of light caramel. Taste is pretty similar, with some toffee. Sweet, but thin bodied. Not particularly well balanced either, but I would drink it again.

Bottle from Cavie. Brown pour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, honey, a little floral, and caramel. Taste is lots of caramel, more sweetness, a little hops, and a little honey. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 7, 2011
The aroma is inviting with toffee, honey, and a touch of chocolate. The appearance is medium brown with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with a nasty chemical bitterness in the finish. The palate is average. Overall a little disappointing. Thaichile (599) - 10aFly, New Jersey, USA - DEC 14, 2005
Bottle. A lighter brown color with minimal head. Not a very thick, brown ale and the flavors were less than intense. A very light brown ale in both taste and viscosity. Maybe that’s why I didn’t mind it all that much. RollinHard (1024) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - MAY 16, 2007
Pours a plain-jane brown. Aroma is astringent and off, but there’s some light caramel and wood behind the weirdness. Tastes....brown? Mildly hoppy in the finish, but very little about this beer left much of an impression at all. Drinkable.
