Bottle on the reccomendation of Boboski. Good call bro. Lots of raisins, some alcohol, and milk chocolate. Black body with a medium head. Full and very creamy mouthfeel. Lots of great milk chocolate tastes up front, followed by some wood flavors, with a wonderful light citrus hop finish. This is easily in the stout category. Great brew. spector (906) - Lancaster, Ohio, USA - MAY 3, 2007
Thanks to boboski.Aroma is dominated by the chocolate.Pours black with a medium tan head.Lots of bitter chocolate and some nice hops stand out in this very nice flavor.Very full mouthfeel with a solid chocolate finish. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - MAY 7, 2008
A true classic in every sense. Pours dark with a decent head tha leaves a ring of lace around the glass. Strong coffee roasted chocolate aromas spew forward. Full nectar with superb carbonation. Heavily roasted with dark chocolate malts steal the show allowing a few nuances like nuts, coffee, and cake bread to make their cameo’s. The finish is bittered exquisitely leaving gobs of coffee roasted cocoa to deal with. This brew is very rich and only mildly sweet. Very well balanced and definitely savory. Malted milk balls with dark chocolate instead of milk. Highly recommended. CaptainCougar (7634) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAY 6, 2003
Dark brown color with a thick tan head. Rich soy, plum and brown sugar aroma. Taste of sweet brown sugar and roasted malt in the body. Smooth, robust palate masks the alcohol quite well. Great complexity and balance make this a very enjoyable and flavorful brew. Marc (486) - Yokosuka, JAPAN - FEB 28, 2005
Marshmello, raisons, chocolat malt, and a little carmelized date. Deep brown body with a thick oily tan head. Touches of mollases in the mouth with roasted grainieness and some herbal hops, and a touch of toffee. Finishes grainy and chocolaty.

Pours black in the glass. Aroma is basically a Chunky bar (if they mad them out of dark chocolate). Awesome dark chocolate aroma with dried berries, figs & raisins. Flavor is basically the same... all dark chocolate; some bitter roasted malt aftertaste. Creamy and smooth on the palate. Overall, wow... I can see myself drinking this on a cold winter’s night easily. Thanks to BarZigKin & DarkBeerChick for hooking me up on this tasty treasure. Dark as night! Smells of Harry & David chocolated covered berries (cherry & blueberry). It’s sweet & sassy! Very smooth chocolate and coffee taste and feel. Warning - does not taste like it’s 9% alcohol! It’s just like dessert...yum! rich9152 (3) - Thornton, Colorado, USA - DEC 7, 2010 does not count
Slightly sweet roasted chocolate malty aroma, very dark color with a tan head that dissipates due to the alcohol, with legs visible when swirling the glass. The taste is a smooth roasted malt with chocolate notes, finishes with a lingering bittersweet roasted aftertaste, attributing the bitterness to the hops. Smooth creamy velvety, moderately carbonated, warming and full bodied. What more can I say? Bought 2 bombers - need to go back for more. Great Imp. Porter -- very satisfying, especially on a cold winter night! Racegoer (355) - Indiana, Indiana, USA - JAN 17, 2003
Big Bomber, its odd, I know the bottle is glass but if feels different, almost flexible, anyway just an observation.Poured a full thick lace, fully lasting. Very dark hue, aroma of bread, coffee and spice.Nicely carbonated, flavours of coffee, green apples, some chocolate sweetness, molasses flavours come out as it warms.Everything about this Porter says quality, except that it is somewhat thin, very drinkable. Thanks ecrvich for this fine Porter. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 8, 2003
The optimum dessert! Nice chocolate, roasted coffee nose. Opaque, little foamy fast diminishing head. Tastes like pure milk chocolate, roasted coffeebeans. Textural thickness on the tongue, smooth and almost silky!! Great balance - more, I wanna have more!!! Thanks Ern so much!
