Smells scary of raspberries. Looks like a glass of piss. Tastes malty with an awkward flavor rasp flavor that stains your mouth. Over all its a great example of what I don’t like about fruit beers. coreyc1221 (319) - Truckee, California, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Tang aroma! Kinda smells like a screwdriver mixed with an Emergen-C. Light gold color and little/no head and the wheatyness in consistency . Tastes like a raspberry soda. Again the screwdriver feel in the taste. Maybe eat with carrot cake or some other light dessert with frosting. It’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be but still not really for me.

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Sacramento. Has some sweetness which is crucial to a fruit beer. Not my style, but when I have a fruit beer, I want it to be similar to this.

December 30th, 2011 - I like the incongruity of Twisted Pine’s brand name followed by the name of a fruit. It suggests some terrifying and intriguing hybridization of two plants that were never meant to breed. Twisted Pine’s Raspberry Wheat is also one of their more common beers, easy to spot in stores. In fact, the very first Twisted Pine beer I ever had was their raspberry wheat. It was being passed out at a local brew store to drum up support for a distribution push, and I remember enjoying it then. This second time around was good too. It’s got a light, velvety, cat-underbelly fuzzy carbonation with a gentle softness and a medium stroke of raspberry. The organic fruitiness pulls through the middle all the way to the aftertaste, providing a nice tour of the parsimonious flavor of the beer. As far as fruity wheat beers go, this is nice. The wheat and fruit flavors dance elegantly, not awkwardly, and the overall refreshing quality makes this a good brew for the Spring season. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 12, 2013
Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Light raspberry sweetness, relatively restrained compared to what it could be, with a wheaty base. Clean and crisp finish. Decent. wlajwl (6809) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAR 19, 2013
Aroma is raspberries and medium sweetness. The flavor is raspberries, malts in the background and a mix of tartness and mild/medium sweetness in the finish. wchesser (2074) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 5, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2013 Solid fruit wheat. Big fruity raspberry nose. Body is wanting...I want a rounder wheat palate. Tart raspberry in flavor...is there corn in this? Fine summer beer if you were in the mood. Better than the 26 on RB.
