the main problem withis beer is that its too soapy. the malts are harsh and rough with only a mild touch of raspberries. the hops only minute, secondary. not the best attempt nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 7, 2011
The aroma is pretty much what I would expect from a raspberry standpoint but I am not getting any wheat. It’s more like a cheap lager. The appearance is pale gold with with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with real raspberry but just beer underneath. The palate is thin but OK. Overall pretty disappointing. dwaggs2 (1297) - Jefferson City, Missouri, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was infused raspberries, malts, and sugars. Flavor was yuck. Tasted like soap. Strong nasty fruit flavors. Thinner body. Lots of carbonation. Not a very good beer. rougeau13 (3039) - Richmond, Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2010
Slightly hazy golden color with big white head and sediment. Smells of raspberry, bug not overdone. Very appealing actually. What I like about it is that the fruit doesn’t completely drown out the beer. It doesn’t taste like a fruity mineral water or a wine cooler. It tastes like a beer. What I don’t like is that there is Way too much carbonation. douglas88 (9202) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 9, 2010
Bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a medium white head. The aroma is sugary sweet berries. The flavor is thin sweet berries, light splenda. OK.

Sampled on 9/10/2010. This fruit wheat pours a slightly pinkish golden yellow color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grain, a touch of sweetness and some raspberry. A light to medium bodied fruit wheat. The malts are cereal and grainy, with a touch of fruitiness. The hops are herbal. The raspberry flavor is a semi sweet and way in the background, it also seems a little to artificial tasting. I think the biggest problem I have with this beer is that its seems to fall outside of being either a wheat beer, a fruit beer or a fruit/wheat beer. It not any of them, not really all that wheaty and the raspberry flavor is just too mild to have any real influence. There doesn’t seem to be any real brewing flaws with this beer, so it could be fixed with a recipe tweak. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. thegreenrooster (4407) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 16, 2010
Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is of raspberry although kinda artificial. Flavor is a weak wheat with just a touch of berr at the end. Every brewer makes somethings like this but I don’t know why. RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUL 10, 2010
12oz bottle poured into a Flute at 46°. Color is a bright light gold with light carbonation and a thin head. Aroma of raspberries and flowers. Light body that goes down crisp with a smooth feel. Flavor has a very mild raspberry taste with a bland malt flavor. After taste is flat. I’m disappointed in this brew, these guys usually make a good brew. Got this bottle from a friend and I think it may be aged, I think I’ll buy more and rerate it. Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2010
bottle thanks to swalden28. poured yellowish with a white head. aroma and flavor match the name perfectly. way to fizzy for me. Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 1, 2010
This beer tastes and smells super sweet. If you don’t like fruity beers, this isn’t for you, however if you are hesitant about the bitterness of hoppy beers, you should give this a try. It has a good balance of raspberries to barley with a tinge of hops and tastes more like a wheat lager.
