Can. Dark copper unfiltered. Heavy hop aroma and large white head. Heavy hop forward taste and you dont get a whole lot else. Ok IPA but not great.

Average IPA with medium everything. Can was a plus, as Ive started to appreciate their advantages.

Super hazy copper coloured body with a nice brown coloured glow and a thick, five centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and resinous hops with a noticeable alcohol bite at the end and some good herbal and bitter notes and a touch of sweetness. Medium-bodied; Very grassy and herbal hops up front with a kick from resinous and grapefruity type bitterness, a light sweetness and a good but perhaps lighter malt backbone. Aftertaste shows almost pure hop bitterness from the grassy, piney and floral hops - not much else to distract from this. Overall, a nice and rather hoppy (especially for 70 ibu) IPA with not as much malt, but works well in this case. Nice to try for hop lovers as this is more focused on the hop side of things and gets the balance all wrong, but in this case, its nice! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Pear Delicatessen in Seattle, Washington [state] on 11-February-2013 for US$1.70 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 28-June-2013 - definitely a nice beer to bring home across the USA.

On tap at Darby's. with a very sexy friend on a surprise visit. He's munchin on food. Talking to my wife. This beer is fine. Slight floral, pine, and caramel. Good dry finish. I'd drink again.

Draft. Cloudy amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of honey, fruit, floral hops, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. A lot of floral hops and citrus in the taste along with strawberry and caramel. A different tasting IPA. It borders on syrupy, though.

On tap @ The Virginia Inn. Cant believe Ive never rated this before. Pours slightly cloudy orange amber with thin creamy head. Aroma is bitter peppery hops. Taste is lightly sweet caramel malt with juicy grapefruit and pine hops. Nice lingering bitterness. Excellent local IPA, fresh and balanced.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2014 Serving: from tap at Smarty Pants. Aroma: lightly pine hop and citrus. Appearance: very small, off-white, initial head that quickly disappeared. Muddy, medium-amber body. Taste: moderately sour, grapefruit initial flavor and heavily bitter, hoppy finish with long duration. Palate: medium body with oily texture and soft carbonation. Overall: interesting flavor. An outstanding IPA.

12 oz. can purchased in small town southeast Alaska. Hazy amber, white fluffy head with great retention, aroma of red candy-like sweet hops, reminds of Dogfish Head 90 minute. Flavor is sweet and syrupy but bitter. A definite fruitiness to the hop followed by bitter, but not as citrusy. If I knew my hops better I might guess what they used, but Im not sure. Different but good.
