Bottle. Appearance - cloudy amber to brown with a nice lacy head. Nose - not fruity, something a bit varnish. Wood as well. Toffee. Taste - toffee again, a bit of lime on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent palate but nose underwhelming.

My first beer from two beers. Rich and hoppy very bitter aftertaste but no alcohol burn. Lovely example of American IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Medium sweet flavor with bready pale malts, crackers, hints of pine, orange, melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly sweet on the finish, lightly resinous, oily, with some bitter grass, earth, bread, ripe citrus. Not bad.

drjoeng (1292) - SINGAPORE - JAN 10, 2016
6.2%ABV. IPA. Tapped out a hazy deep Amber. 12ºSRM. Nose has some nice ripe citrus sweetness. Bright and inviting. Tangerines, ripe ruby grapefruit. Nice soapy mouthfeel. Carbonation is just so. The hops come up front and center with pine, grass, resin, fresh kale, some konbu as the hoppy character starts to fade and you get a slight umami-like transition. Finish is bitter and vegetal. Harsh Harsh finish. Has the tart stickiness of an green olive?? Goes on Favorites List!
