355ml Can from The Wee Beer Shop, Glasgow (£2.00):
An interesting beer in that it came through as more of an American pale ale than an IPA at times but it was still quite a fresh offering with a subtle hop bitterness & some nice citrus with a few touches of pine further on. It was pleasant & balanced, going down easily without grabbing your attention as it did so but it was one that I'm glad I got to try despite it not being one that I'd rush back to.

From a 22 oz bottle into a Trumer stem glass. Pours light amber with head and lace. Aroma of grains, slight mango-guava skin, slight leather, orange zest. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of pale malt, old tangerine rind, straw hops, slight black pepper. Overall rich, different, OK.

On top from Ciudad in Georgetown, Seattle. Wonderful flavor and finish. Even my wife liked it. Went well with the grilled meat and vegetables we had for dinner. i highly recommend it and will be looking to return to Ciudad and having another pint or two.

Can from Rehills, Newcastle. Cloudy amber coloured with a thick white head. It has an orange, tropical fruit and pine flavour followed by a smooth, zesty fruity orange, malty and toffee finish. Excellent!

On tap @ Bakgården Både &, Kristiansand. Unclear, dark orange body with a thin, lacing tan head. A bit weird aroma, fruit, malt and ashtray. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, general fruitiness and quite bitter. God balanced body and mostly bitter aftertaste. Decent, quite general IPA, but seems to miss some freshness. Might be a bit old?
