I am an IPA drinker and keep come back to this as a regular beer I drink often. It has all the characteristics of a great IPA; bold, flavorful that leaves a great after taste. sSCaarcaar (1) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 7, 2017 does not count
On top from Ciudad in Georgetown, Seattle.
Wonderful flavor and finish. Even my wife liked it.
Went well with the grilled meat and vegetables we had for dinner. i highly recommend it and will be looking to return to Ciudad and having another pint or two. Sausagedog (15) - Scarborough, AUSTRALIA - MAY 13, 2016
Really enjoyable if you want something more complex than a pale, but not over the top like a hoppy West coaster.
Aroma of pine cones, slight molasses. Low carbonation, nice balance of bitterness, not very malt. Very easy and pleasing beverage!

Very solid West Coast IPA coming from an up and coming brewery in Seattle. Nice aroma with grapefruit hints. Great hazy orange appearance. Wonderful taste with a smooth finish. Definitely recommend. Give it a try when you see it, you won’t be disappointed. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUL 13, 2015
Solid IPA. Deep color for the style. More hops than malts, although pretty balanced. Sufficient bitterness. Pine-oriented flavor.

Can from the Beer Shoppe in Yakima.
Aroma: Intensely floral, perfume-like, grapefruit.
Palate: Medium bodied.
Flavor: Caramel malt, moderately concentrated tropical and stone fruit, roasted grain, tea and bitter grassy hop.
Comment: Well-integrated flavors. John said it reminded him of Big Al’s Big Hoppe. Long-lasting head. Well done.

My first beer from two beers. Rich and hoppy very bitter aftertaste but no alcohol burn. Lovely example of American IPA

Can from Rehills, Newcastle. Cloudy amber coloured with a thick white head. It has an orange, tropical fruit and pine flavour followed by a smooth, zesty fruity orange, malty and toffee finish. Excellent! TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - FEB 5, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2011 Tap @ Collins and Parkway. Clear orange pour with a short white head which leaves a heavy lace. Nose is a mix of caramel malt and pine hops with a touch of flowers. Medium body is toasty, caramel and nicely flavored with predominantly resinous, flowery and some citrus hop aromas. Finish is medium and bittersweet. I really like this IPA, one of my favorites from a PNW craft brewer. If you can find the infused version, gobble it up! Update: had a bottle of the initial bottling release (wax-sealed and tagged) that was bought 3 weeks prior. Most of the delicious hop flavor persists, but it slightly reduced over a fresh keg. Rating unchanged. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUN 25, 2011
Courtesy of riversideAK. Bomber pours clear deep copper with off white head. The aroma is full with yummy citrus hops and some tropical fruit notes as well as flowery floral sweet cotton candy and spicy hops. The floral note seems a bit out of place but the other yummy notes sure make up for it. The taste is the same with an initial pulse of citrus hops, tropical fruitiness, spicy hops and some floral hop notes all running amuck across my palate. It seems to move from bitter hops and to flavor hops and then back to bitterness and then hop resin into the finish. Nice and hoppy where the floral seems a bit out of place much like in the nose. Good stuff.
