Bomber pours a cloudy beige with a two finger off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is primarily citrus and pine. Flavor is a wonderful malty citrus. This one is exceptionally well balanced. Ideal medium bitterness. The aftertaste couldnt be much better. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Solid West Coast IPA. Very hop forwarded; not much malt backbone. Pine notes primarily. A bit of resin. No grapefruit. Good.

May 2015 bottle hand delivered from Seattle. Opaque light brown with tan head. Citrus hop aroma with hints of booze. Bitter pine, light toffee caramel hop flavors. Finish is piney bitter and lingers. Not has heavy (malty) as some DIPAs, nice.

This was poured into a snifter. The appearance was a glossy/hazy burnt orange to amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing all invading but sliding right on into the beer. The smell started off with a fairly decent dark strong caramel malt that lead into a decent dried citrus sweet aspect. The taste was mainly sweet and malty with a slight bready take in the flavor. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but not overbearing as it lead me on and into a further depth of a want of detail...was it there? Slightly... Overall, this was a pretty good beer that is worthy of having again if you like the maltier DIPAs.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2014 Aroma of hops and malts. For a hybrid this actually has better hop flavour than most. Has more of an IPA flavour than a lager which is a big thumbs up in my books. (The actual beer I tried was their India Pale Lager which brought this up. Oops!)

Probably not a new bottle...love the hop profile in here it just didnt seem fresh. Good sticky feel, but the aroma and flavored are muted. Gotta date...

Bomber. Poured clear, lighter orange with a sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet oranges and honeyed malts topped by fresh pine, floral, and grapefruity hoppage.. peppery on the back of the nose. The flavor found honey and light biscuity sweetness at the core with peppery and orangey bitterness throughout.. very spicy with a hit of raw alcohol on the finish. Medium-bodied and a touch sharp on the palate.. this was alright.
