3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ Noble Fir. Pours bright orange amber with thick even white head. Aroma is big caramel malt and just a hint of grassy hops. Taste is sweet rich malt with smooth bitter hops. Hops are fresh and piney, with a little citrus evident before the strong bitter finish. Nice step up from the Evo IPA, maintains the solid hop balance that has. Excellent hops here, would like to see a little more out of them than heavy bitterness.
Pours cloudy copper. Aroma is hoppy, slightly roasted. Taste is roasted, lots of hop bitterness. Beer5000 (6824) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 23, 2017
On tap @ Bakgården Både &, Kristiansand. Unclear, orange body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has ripe fruit and caramel. Flavor has soft caramel malt, ripe fruit and decent bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste of caramel malt and pleasant bitterness. Fine, but I think it might have been better served fresher. gunnfryd (15486) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 23, 2017
Kick 210417. Golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, grapefruit. Flavor is fruit, malt, hop, hint of peaches, floral, citrus, caramel. A well made imperial IPA. Beerowl80 (389) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2017
Keg. Pours hazy amber. Aroma of citrus, grass and bread. Mild sweet with moderate bitterness. Didn’t do a lot for me. teamsale (317) - Washington, USA - OCT 13, 2016
Bomber pours a cloudy beige with a two finger off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is primarily citrus and pine. Flavor is a wonderful malty citrus. This one is exceptionally well balanced. Ideal medium bitterness. The aftertaste couldn’t be much better. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Solid PNW IPA, hop forward lots of pine and resin notes, finishes with slightly citrus, light body, pours a pretty dark amber good head. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUN 28, 2015
Solid West Coast IPA. Very hop forwarded; not much malt backbone. Pine notes primarily. A bit of resin. No grapefruit. Good. Maxbier (1000) - Maryland, USA - JUN 26, 2015
May 2015 bottle hand delivered from Seattle. Opaque light brown with tan head. Citrus hop aroma with hints of booze. Bitter pine, light toffee caramel hop flavors. Finish is piney bitter and lingers. Not has heavy (malty) as some DIPAs, nice. Bulk_Carrier (6064) - Vermont, USA - SEP 13, 2014
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a glossy/hazy burnt orange to amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing all invading but sliding right on into the beer.
The smell started off with a fairly decent dark strong caramel malt that lead into a decent dried citrus sweet aspect.
The taste was mainly sweet and malty with a slight bready take in the flavor.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but not overbearing as it lead me on and into a further depth of a want of detail...was it there? Slightly...
Overall, this was a pretty good beer that is worthy of having again if you like the maltier DIPA’s.
