650ml bottle

Bottled? 8/19/15 - Pours yellowish orange with a thick white head. Aroma of pine, resin, floral hops, grass, citrus and lemon. Taste is smooth, sweetish and grassy hoppy with some citrus, pine, floral notes, herbal notes and hints of resin. Finish is smooth, hoppy and resinous with some pine, herbal notes and floral notes. Okay, surprisingly good despite it’s not very fresh.

65 cl bottle. Bottled on 19.08.2015.
Pours hazy orange color with a medium sized head. Sweet tropical fruits on the nose, hops and pine, some mild hops left. Sweet malty-fruity flavor, orange and mango, some resinous hops and gooseberries. Sadly not that fresh anymore, decent still.

Idiosynkrasie (7508) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - FEB 4, 2016
650ml bottle. Barely clear, orangey golden colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious, piney and citrusy, hoppy aroma, biscuity malty background, hints of lemon biscuit, lemon tea. Taste is dry, piney hoppy, slightly citrusy, biscuity, malty background, a cautious, minimally sweet-ish touch of peanut; smooth, soft, silky palate. Kind of wussy IPA, but in a very likeable way.

Medium sized, white head with good retention and a lasting, sticky lace.murky, gold colored brew. Nose of oranges, earth, slight bready notes. Body is med/full, tame carbonation, lil tangy. Dry malts are grainy and backed up with nice citrus flavors and some stone fruits. Not over the top but enjoyable. Finish is dry, lightly fruity, hint resiny with a tame bite. Props to 5K for the bomber!

Bomber bottel, pours gold / bronze with a small white head. Nice fruity hoppy aroma, pretty fresh, mango, grapefruit, light pine. Malts are light medium, biscuity, palate is dry, soft carbonation, with a fruity bitter finish with a bit of spice.

22 oz bottle poured. $6 bomber. Tasty! Pours a glowing orange copper with an uneven bubble head. Very aromatic, this one is. Wonderful hop presence. Flavor is a bready malt base, with a ton of citrus and orange fruit cover. Excellent hop profile. I don’t know why I’m surprised, but this beer is awesome. While the fresh hop beers are fading away for the year, I’m glad this one has stuck around. I may grab another.

Draft at Fiddlers. Mets are hurting - sorry beastie, but there’s still a lot of play left in this team. Clear burnt copper pour with creamy white head. Aroma is big on citrus, slightly less big on pine. Lightly sweet; not caramelly; moderately bitter finish. Bright citrus throughout. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Overall: I’m surprised by how much I like this - one of the better fresh hop beers I’ve had this season.

Murky copper with a white head. Aroma is floral and citrus with malt sweetness. Flavor is similarly floral and malty. Lingering strong bitter finish. Not very complex but it is tasty.

Poured from a bomber into a tulip on 09.16.14. A: Strong grapefruit and orange. Very citrusy. A: 1 finger head that recedes to a ring of bubbles with nice lacing. Cloudy orange body. T: Grapefruit, orange, and hop resin dominate. Pineapple is subtle. P: Creamy with a crisp back end. O: The hop resin is super strong as it should be. This is my first fresh hop beer and it was very interesting to compare against. It has a green plant-like flavor. It was very enjoyable.
