Pours a finger of head on a clear straw body. Aroma is bright lemon, grapefruit and pineapple. Taste starts with a sharp pine bitterness that lasts through the end. Some mild sweet at the beginning. Texture is crisp.

Draft pour at the Collective, golden pour thin lacy head, fresh hop aroma, flavor is very smooth and easy to pound. First kickoff to the 2016 fresh hop season.

Watershed, Seattle. Well, that’s it. Summer is over. Fresh hop is here. Soapy foam, hazy light orange. Sweet and floral aroma. Juicy, bitter body, more floral and grassy than the usual IPA. Fresh and quite bitter. Stronger in body, abv and flavors than the average fresh hop, which show off the fresh hop character better in subtlety. Tasty, rich, juicy and delicious. Not best fresh hop I’ve had, but a really good IPA.

Very hazy orange beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and finely crisp. Mild minerals. Thin pale malts, a modicum of sweetness. Great hops - juicy fresh orange with yellow grapefruit underneath. Touches of lemon and tangerine. Some peel bitterness on the backend. Finishes semi dry with grapefruit peel lingering on. Great fruity IPA.

660ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Cloudy amber brown, reasonable head. Tropical fruit, pine and hop aroma and flavour. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. A classic West Coast IPA.

Hopmaestro (1653) - Örebro, SWEDEN - FEB 9, 2016
Aroma is pleasant with a lot of tropical notes and pine. Caramelly touch and mild hoppy features. Taste is oranges and mango with a quite sweet malt profile. Pleasant bitterness, but maybe a bit unpolished in the aftertaste.

65 cl bottle @ home, bottled 19.08.2015
Aroma feels fresh and very fruity with citrus, passionfruit and caramel. Flavour has some gooseberry bush, fruit juice. Finishes with mild menthol and harsh bitterness. Aroma was promising but flavour feels a bit un-fresh. Probably better when drunk less than 6 months past the bottling date...
