Nice stout-like dark ale. Less malty flavors than you'd see a stout, and more hoppy flavors instead. Very robust flavor, with lingering bitterness. Solid!

Bomber poured a clear reddi brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of cocoa, earthiness, light roastiness and light citrus. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of cocoa, roastiness, light earthiness and a hint of citrus with a smooth dry lightly bitter lingering cocoa finish. robforbes (2257) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - OCT 24, 2012

Bomber. Coffee and chocolate mixed with pine and light citrus. mild bitterness. Some roasted flavors but not enough. smooth finish. Aml42000 (622) - Washington, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Pours slightly transparent brown with a thick, snowy off white head. Generous, thick lacing in the glass. Pine resin nose with a hint of grapefruit. Slightly delicate palate with good interplay between bitter hops and light roast. My favorite that I’ve tasted from this brewery. Gerbeer (3852) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 20, 2012
UPDATED: AUG 22, 2012 650 ml bottle. Pours black with large tan head of big bubbles. Aromas of red berries, citrus, and malts. Unusual mixture of flavors, kiwi/lemon, pine, and chocolate. Astringent start and bitter finish. BeerNeedy (126) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - AUG 19, 2012
22 oz bottle. This dark ale has a pleasant if somewhat vague aroma. It pours a cloudy dark brown with a huge tan creamy head. Pour with caution. The taste while far from unique is very pleasing. There is a strong alcohol note. Good drinkability and mouth feel.
