"Nice well balanced pale. Maybe a touch too much biscuit malt. Hops are fairly bright and lively if a little ivershadowed. Bitter in the finish. Grapefruit and biscuit."

Bottle:   Darker amber, a little dirty, some chunks settling to the bottom of my glass, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Soft hoppy nose, malts a little musty, very faint overcooked vegetable.   Not a real hop oriented beer, its there but not very bright.   Remains musty, a little stale and wet hops perhaps, some cardboard.   Luckily any sort of overcooked vegetable is very minor, and only shows up in the back.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   I guess if you dont like too much hops, this would be a paler Pale Ale.   A little off in the nose and on the tongue though, comes across as a bit of a homebrew, well sorta.   Its okay... cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - JUL 15, 2011
