Great amount of spice and pumpkin flavor. Very smooth in texture. Best pumpkin beer I’ve had. skoisirius (1908) - Earth, Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2015
Tap somewhere last week. Remember the nose was full of pumpkin spice goodness, but the palate was nice and spiced with a hint of vegetable and not all that full. Nice lingering spice finish. Decent. andrewje41 (4519) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a light copper color with a patchy head and a ton of lacing. Pumpkin spices and nutmeg aroma. Gingerbread flavors with a minimum sweetness and a lot of autumn spices. Damn good pumpkin beer, coming from someone who typically shys away from them. Good stuff. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear darker amber color with a smallish off-white head on it. Nose is pretty spicy, with a lot of the traditional pumpkin spice elements and a bit of nutmeg. Taste is slightly sweet, and definitely has a lot of spice in it. shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - FEB 8, 2014
Tap at the Hangover. Lightly spiced, quite sweet, lots of pumpkin. Quite nice though. Full on but easy to drink. As with most pumpkin beers, one is probably enough for me.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a slight creamy off-white head. Nearly beige. Aroma is lots of pie spice. Clove and cinnamon seem dominant. Med body. Flavor is very smooth - not too harsh - not too light. Not too sweet. Certainly not dry. Appropriate spice levels. Very nice version. Hypo_Luxa (67) - Osaka, JAPAN - NOV 9, 2013
Aroma is strong spice. Smells like a can of pumpkin puree. Cough medicine taste, snappy mouth feel.
Sweet hard candy aftertaste. Not all bad for a pumpkin beer.

On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, Seattle. Mostly clear copper with a fluffy white head. Pumpkin spice aroma is a bit muted but definitely there. Heavy mouthfeel which lands a big hit of nutmeg and cinnamon just as it feels about to subside. Good spices, but not the most drinkable. chuckstout (336) - Washington, USA - SEP 1, 2013
Aromas of bread, and spices pours a beautiful red/orange with a creamy white head. Malty with a lot of cinnamon and a bitter finish, pretty good mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - AUG 10, 2013
I'm partial to this style, and this is perhaps the best "session" pumpkin ale I've tried. Bottle purchased "pre-release" at brewery. Strong pumpkin aroma following a vigorous pour. Perfectly balanced in sweetness and spiceness, over a flavorful pumpkin malt base. Just nice. Incredibly balanced. A- would love to see an imperial version.
