Draught at Frankie’s Pizza, Sydney, on July 17, 2013.
Clear brown color, light brown head. Sweet, fruity scent. Sweet, hoppy, roasted taste. Bitter aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Tap at The Catfish, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light toffee caramel hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a rich woody, metallic, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Ok but overly hopped and not in a good way. A touch light, lacking any kind of fruit and with a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste.

Bottle. Deep gold with a decent, off-white head. Citrus fruits, some solid, cereal malts, a touch of pine and dryish finish. Enjoyable.

330ml bottle. Burnt copper red in colour with loads of light brown foam. Wonderful aromas of passionfruit and melon make you want to drink this beer. Light in the mouth with great flavour. An easy to drink beer.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2013 Bottle. Clear reddish amber with a modest but lasting off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, a little toast, passionfruit. Barely sweet with some toast and biscuit, dry finish with light tropical and grapefruit notes. Light-bodied - seemed a bit thin at first at 9C, better as it warmed and the biscuit had more presence. A bit too clean for mine, but the hops are very nice. [3.4] [6/12] And a bit warmer again and it’s really working rather nicely. [3.6]

Growler on the sort of night that calls for a session mild, but this is ’Straya. Really does what it should - a steady drinker that’s tasty enough but not very filling. Dryish and moderately bitter in a way that maintains interest but is not compelling.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours deep amber with a small, sticky white head leaving superb lacing all over the glass. Appearance is perfect for the style. Nose has notes of lively passionfruit, pine, light toffee and a touch of melon and gooseberries. Sweet and aromatic. First thing I notice in the taste, is sweet passionfruit followed by caramel biscuit. Melon hits the mid palate which helps showcase the vibrant hops and give it the slightest touch of sourness. Quite sprizty in carbonation and very easy drinking. Great beer

The head is robust, the body darkred-brown. It smells hoparomatic, flowery, bit bitter, malty. The taste is hoparomatic, bit bitter, bit fruity, bit malty, flowery. Good.
