330 ml bottle at Cardinia Hotel, Beaconsfield. Pours a lovely hazy deep reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma is complex, biscuit malt, fruit cake, citrus and tropical fruit. Flavour of blood orange, grapefruit, burnt toffee. Very robust. Taste is quite bitter with little sweetness. Palate is cloying with full body and lingering bitterness. Overall a decent beer with plenty of interesting character. Perhaps a tad too bitter for session drinking. Lunkie (1966) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - NOV 18, 2017

330ml bottle. Pours a dark amber brown with a blood orange tinge and a thin beige head. Aroma: Malt, citrus, grapefruit, grass. Not particularly aromatic. Taste: Biscuity malt, cirrus, grapefruit,. Mild caramel flavours. Mild tartness and bitterness. Moderate carbonation. Thin body. Tasty and easily sessionable, but a bit too thin for my liking. Definitely a good beer though.
