Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Poured a nice clear dark gold with a small frothy white head. Strong syrupy blonde with a pleasant dryness in the finish. Full body. Wildflower honey. Rich orange marmalade. Very well blended. Extraordinary actually. Quite impressed. I appreciate how difficult it is to get a beer to read like this. Should be rated higher. Klaatu1721 (1) - - APR 13, 2013 does not count
By the taste, I’d never guess that this beer is 16% ABV. The taste is very light, with a good banana/peach overtone. Almost like a Hefeweizen, without the clove or citrus. Amazing! Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - APR 21, 2013
Pours a very clean golden color with a very low, filmy white head. Aroma has a very strong apple, bubble gum, light peach and finishes with a lot of clove but it fits with the other flavors present. Flavor has a lot of clove early, moves into a light alcoholic flavor but not at all overpowering, Modest amount of peach and apple provide enough sweetness to balance out the clove and alcohol present. Body is surprisingly hefty for a 16% brew. Beer has very fine, low carbonation that aids in the body. Overall a very tasty beer! Nose is one of the more balanced for this strong of alcohol. The alcohol is just a tad on the high side for the flavor but I would not of expected it to be this high. Great beer is always signified by me continually going back to pour an empty bottle. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2013
22oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of baking spices with some banana and clove. Taste is medium sweet. Banana and clove with a little green apple and baking spice. Medium bodied with a thin yet slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long boozy warm finish. Overall, great. mverity (294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Drank more like a saison. Tasty and enjoyable but an interesting brew. Color was slightly cloudy and pale yellow with a nice white head. Smelled of wet grass and faintly hoppy. Tasty but odd. Really earthy and dry. I wasn’t expecting the style to be so much like a saison.

Hides the alcohol well behind a brown sugar palate. Very smooth but lacking a distinctive character. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 29, 2013
On tap. Clear orange color. Thin white head. Decent bits of lace. Big body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of creamy. Just a bit of sticky in the finish, that quickly turns dry. At first, I was amazed by how smooth this drinks for 16%. I talked to some of the brewers, though, and found out that it’s actually around 12%. Apparently the labels were approved before the final product was finished. It’s a very smooth body, no bite or burn as it goes down. Just a light twinge in the finish. I was amazed that it drinks like sub-12%, but later discovered that that’s appropriate. Sort of tangy, some belgian candy sugar (not too much though), banana, breadiness. Dried citrus-fruits, very light spice. Good stuff. jmohno (1620) - Iowa, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Clear slight copper,but gold.1/3 of a bomber pour.Light head/lace.
Aroma is tangy peppery/spicey with pear, sweet apple, pineapple maybe.
Sweet candiish. A little woodsyish.Alchohol detected but hidden very well.
Flavor of this is quite good with pear pineapple, orange, smooth with caramel candy, tangy with peppery/spice finish.Too smooth with good sweet/spicyness to notice any hot alcohol, mildly dry but just a little burn on the end covered well by its spicyness.Seems quite drinkable and unboozy to me,pretty great beer. hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2013
22oz bottle. Poured a golden color with an averaged sized head. Fruity, spices, bananas, some yeastiness, and toffee. Did not detect any alcohol in this one! TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Bottle. Should have looked at the abv before drinking this. Pours a nice gold with great white head. Boozy at first but that gives way to some nice banana and other Belgian flavors. Solid beer, the alcohol doesn’t ruin it at all.
