COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a little tip of the hat to our scientific, pioneering neighbors we created the innovative atom smasher limited run artisan beer. A heft, full-bodied lager reminiscent of Marzen beers from days gone by. However, this beer is aged in our oak foudres to add a complexity unmatched by the imported version of Oktoberfest beers today. Just add Ledersosen!

Slight fruits and mild pumkin and malty flavor to this. Rather bland but not offensive. Butterscotch and sweet. 12oz bottle pour at home - amber color with barely any white head

Pours a clear golden amber with a full white head that laces the glass. Aroma is caramel and spices. Taste is sweet caramel malt, butterscotch, biscuits and just the right amount of hop bitterness to balance. Top drawer Oktoberfest.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2016 355ml bottle. Darj amber pour, nice cramy off-white/cream colored head. Aroma is heavy noble hops, and a bit of oak, malt well covered by the two imo.The flavor is sharp and bitter, not much mid palate. Some creaminess, some caramel/soy. Maybe my palate is fucked up but not getting much complexity here. And interesting htat the oak aged oktos are among the hoppiest, perhaps they are thinking the hops will wear out during hte aging but they don’t. Re Rate 355ml bottle. Pours a bit darker than most, clear, This one has an oak smell also a urinal aroma. I’m so pissed I didn’t get to try all these oktos blind this year. The aroma isn’t big here either. Flavor is definitely oak-tinged, also lemon lime, some brandy, the wood changes this alot. The malt notes are toned down a lot, it isn’t as hoppy as I remmeebr though it does have some finishing bitterness. It has a unique flavor, but perhaps not enough of it, it is jsut bittersweet and a bit underwhelming.

Draft at the growler stone street NYC . Pours a bright bronze golden color with a malty interesting backbone. Not bad

Heavy wheat aroma. Lighter amber color, no head. No carbonation. A different take on an oktoberfest. Smooth flavor but would like some carbonation.

Golden orange. Molasses, berry. Bitter upfront, with some subtle sweetness. Light body, quite effervescent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home. Clear amber pour. Aroma of light oak, apples, malt. Full bodied with a sticky mouthfeel. Quite sweet, with yeasty and jammy cooked fruit flavors over a faint oakiness. Slight vanilla. Sweetish finish. Not bad.
