Bomber before the Zips game, and my fourth of the day, so take this rating for what it’s worth. Lovely nose, Munich malt and caramel. Pours fiery orange with a beige sudsy head. Taste is overly sweet. Thin-medium body, well-hidden alcohol. Nothing but malt, which is fine for style. Really, really good malt, but in the end, a little too sweet/unbalanced. Still, yummy, want more! cheap (5857) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2014
From a bottle has a slight volatile malt aroma. Strong initially but not as strong as 8% may indicate. But yet, a strong malty thing, not sure if this is marzen or not but its malty fer sure. Getting used to it as the session continues. Decent co2 but not lots. Yes, got used to this one. End is a mid kick in the head. superspak (5591) - Michigan, USA - JAN 15, 2015
12 ounce bottle into dimpled mug, best before 1/13/2015. Pours hazy deep orange/copper color with a 1 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big caramel, toffee, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light oak, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, earthy hops, and light oak notes; with good strength. Taste of caramel, toffee, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light oak, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light earthy herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toffee, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, light nuttiness, light oak, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of dark/bready malts, earthy hop, and light oak flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors as well with minimal esters present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Oktoberfest style. All around good robustness, balance, and complexity of dark/bready malt, earthy hops, and light oak flavors; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering. Bomber from the Orland Park, IL, Binny’s: This poured a bright orange body with a modest head that vanished when I left the room for a few moments. The aroma was sweet with toasty malt and a touch of orchard fruit balanced by a bit of oak and a whiff of alcohol. The flavor was much like the nose, only the alcohol became a bit more evident, really not blending well. It finshed on a woody, dry bitterness and left a taste of alcohol in the mouth. mar (5415) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 16, 2010

Draught @ The Ginger Man, NYC. Pours clear amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops with touches of caramel malt. Bitter, dusty and grainy flavour with notes of raw malt. Rough aftertaste. More interesting than good. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 16, 2014
Standard 12 oz longneck. OK label. Dull, medium brown beer with a foamy white head. Somewhat stale cereal malt aroma with some faint perfume-florality. Lightly sweet, nutty, cereal, toasty, woody notes. Woody astringency at times. Slippery mouthfeel, good effervescence. Nicely bitter finish. New Leaf Market. Two brothers atom smasher
BA Oktoberfest that is a clear orange color with no head. A bit of tannic oak and a prune/apricot stone fruit character. The taste is dry, oaky caramel , molasses and clean. Quite nice.

Picked this up at Crown Liquor #19 in Caramel, Indiana. Well, Amyliz4 picked this up. Served in a snifter.
Pours a medium copper color with a thin head that recedes quickly. Some spotty lacing. The nose brings forward plenty of bread and a light bit of caramel. Faint hops. The flavor is okay, having too much of a grain character with slight tannins and a mild tartness. Light body with bread crust and modest carbonation. Decent enough, but not something I would revisit. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 11, 2015
Pours a medium amber with two finger head. Smells of light malt and a touch of wood. Flavors of malt, a little wood, and a touch of fruit.
