Poured from 12oz brown bottle into nonic pub glass, a crystal-clear orange amber colour with white foam, short-lived but left some lace. Aroma very grainy, grassy, mildly peppery kind of like a Pilsener plus very slight Belgian yeast spice. Flavour same but way too sticky sweet, and too hot fusel alcohols, like a gas station malt liquor. Medium body, high carbonation, syrupy aftertaste. Not sure what they were going for, but I didn't like it. MaltOne (380) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 14, 2017
Nice intro to the category - has all the characteristics in moderation. A little farmyard funk, a little wild, spicy yeast, a little sweetness, good body. jfb (6575) - GERMANY - OCT 8, 2017
(bottle) slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of powdered sugar and peaches, quite oxidized, with a hint of apricots and lots of syrup. flavour is mostly caramelized malts and burnt toffee, rather nondescript, with some notes of earth, ethanol and a light-bitter peppermint finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation. Clear light brown with almost no head. Aroma is dusty malt, nutty syrup, alcoholic, hints of chocolate. Taste is more or less the same. Harsh and alcoholic. Not smooth. Nope.

Bottle. Sticky sweet honey nose. Pretty amber, no head. Oxidized sweet malt, low carbonation, honey, lightest hops. Medium body, sticky. Honey retronsal. SinH4 (6124) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - SEP 28, 2017
Bottle. Amber color with tiny white head. Aroma is caramel, oxidized, iron. Taste is caramel, iron. Sticky sweet, sticky mouthfeel, low carbonation. Not for me. Idiosynkrasie (7858) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 13, 2017
355ml bottle. Clear, reddish, dark amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Mellow and minimally toasty malty, slightly fruity aroma, grassy hoppy overtones, hints of plum and cherry, underlying spicy, bready maltiness. Taste is initially slightly sweet caramel and bready malty, minimally toasty, later more fruity, hints of cherry a touch of plum, some red currant in combination with cautious, fruit acidic tartness, a well matching (in no way chalky) mineral touch, mild floral overtones; lasting fruity and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Very clean - nice. BierMeHoos (644) - Maryland, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Where: Old Line Fine Wine Spirits & Bistro.
How: 12 ounce bottle.
Color is amber with a 2 finger khaki head. Decent retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is malty with a slight floral scent from noble hops. Flavor is on the sweeter maltier side with minimal hops. Not too exciting, but good flavor. Lighter body with nice carbonation. Simple beer that I would like some oak or must in along with the hops. Pretty good, but nothing ridiculous.
