UPDATED: JUN 4, 2008 Looks like someone hawked a damn loogie in the bottle. That aside, this beer is a good hefeweizen. It’s most prominant flavor is lemony citrus. Light bodied and kinda sour. rerate. fresh and very lemony. kind of flat out of the bottle DocLock (10836) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 9, 2004
My first Two Brither beer, and I can’t wait to try the other 4 styles I have. This one pours turbid deep gold with a medium white head. Aroma of hopcit, yeast, banana, with the same tastes appearing, and a balanced, somewhat citrusy, dry finish. Good complexity. This was better than I expected. Pours a milky yellow with a thin bubble head. Aroma is sour citrus, dry. Body is incredibly malty- too malty for the style? Maybe not, but it was unexpected. Very tangy lemon taste with some funny bitterness underneath. What it lacks in taste is made up for in the mouthfeel. Finish is nice with some bitter and orange citrus notes. This beer just slips and fades away from the palate. If Two Brothers could reproduce this mouthfeel in their other beers....wow. Crosling (1864) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 13, 2004
Solid, spot on aroma of strong nutmeg, vanilla and clove, lovely fruit scents of deep orange, tangerine and banana.
Oddly enough, this is slightly sour especially on the mid-palate and in terms of flavor, this reminds of Hitachino Nest Weizen and that is a good thing. Loads of deep, coating flavor and huge, for its small size. Notes of vanilla, clove, pepper and orange. An odd beer for sure but quite tasty. Mangino (1027) - Mississippi, USA - SEP 19, 2004
Pours a very almost eccentric orange, very unique color. The flavor is very similar, I taste lemons, bitter, clove, banana, and sweetness. Good body, good palate. Great sumer/fall beer!

a nice brew from our local two bro. brewery, but not quite what i was hoping for when i ordered it. i liked it alright, but sitting next to say hacker it doesnt really hit the spot. a bit sweet, and a bit citrusy with small hints of malts. cloves and bananas were present, but not as strong as expected. raymow (1700) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 9, 2004
An interesting flavor that I’m trying to figure out how to describe. It’s slightly peppery, slightly citrusy and slightly sweet. Nice cloudy-orange appearance. Braudog (6791) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - AUG 14, 2004
Nice yeasty cloudy yellow beer with big yeasty aroma with sweet fruity aroma. But then a super sweet, lemon-zest of flavors, almost too much like lemonade. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUL 28, 2004
I stored this on it’s side and poured before I realized how much sediment was in the bottle. I poured a little of it out. Starts with very lively carbonation and just a hint of head. Aroma is bananas and diacetyl. I only get a hint of clove. The taste is more like a tangerine than banana. Has a very lightly peppery finish. An interesting entry, but far from the best I have had in the style. Terminus (3702) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 16, 2004
Looking at this you might expect a typical weiss beer, but suprise... its not. This beer looks typical and the aroma is a little sweet, but the flavor is the interesting part. High in citrus taste that is both sweet and sour. Sip slow and enjoy.
