Poured from bottle. Smells like a jelly sandwich. Ugly orange gold with no head. Pear and banana dominate flavor, with clove and a bit of pepper in a dry wheat base. Could use a bit more carbonation. Bottle is just past its "best by" date, which might explain its feel. I like this, and will look for a fresher one in the future. ghostbeer (215) - Nebraska, USA - JAN 31, 2015
Stylistically, this was pretty good, I thought. Thick, dense long-lasting head with the phenolic aromas I expected. A good amount of funk but drinkable. Solid but there are others I would buy again first. Niko100 (2913) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 30, 2015
Nice golden color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of yeast, bananas, & some clove/spice; Flavor of sweet malt, yeast, bananas, and clove; Nicely balance; Pretty decent hefeweizen. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JAN 11, 2015
Very enjoyable. Strong malt notes. Lower ABV, which is always impressive. Recommended. EyeAmBaldman (461) - Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2015
Pours a clear gold with almost no head. Aroma is sour apples and banana. Mild carbonation in the mouth with tastes of clove, banana and slight malt. Not my thing.

Mildly tart. Other than that, this is a good fruity wheat hefeweizen. Yeasty, not much banana but more clove and other fruit flavors. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Gift from Tyler. Nice notes of banana, wheat, clove and orange. Body was a tad too thin for my tastes, but over all, a good representation of the style. unclemike (3124) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - OCT 12, 2014
Refreshingly citrusy/wheaty aroma. Malt is a strong orange/clove/banana flavor. Slight spice but not very yeasty...a bit too carbonated perhaps. Not perfectly smooth but above average flavor for a wheat. Banana notes in the finish fiercepanda (615) - Missouri, USA - OCT 10, 2014
A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is clove, banana, wheat, and yeast. The flavor is watery citrus and bubblegum. Bif (2245) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a small head and no real lacing. Aroma of banana, citrus bit of spice and yeast. Taste on citrus, banana, subtle malt sweetness, a bit herbal with yeast in the background. Mild bitterness and a bit of a tangy finish. Light body, smooth and a bit of an herbal flair. Not a bad beer just not one of my favorite styles.
