On cask at jerry’s. Good foamy head. Dark copper color with some interesting depth. Distinct coffee smell with toffee and malt. Tastes pretty good, if a bit lackluster. Bacterial (3080) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - MAR 30, 2014
Cask at Happy Gnome Firkin Fest 2014. Slightly hazy light brown pour with an off-white head. Coffee nose and taste, Belgian spices. rxeight (3344) - Illinois, USA - MAR 24, 2014
Coffee, caramel malt and and belgian spices. Unfortunately the coffee and the belgian flavors in this one didnt mix. I appreciate some experimentation from craft breweries but this is another dud from 2 bros. Pipeworks can crank out an experimental beer every week and knocks it out of the park 75% of the time. 2 Bros puts out a one off bomber 2 or 3 times a year and usually comes up short. Unacceptable. Well Well worth a try..... Reminded me of really good Trappist beers from Belgium.... brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 4, 2013
Bottle @ Richard’s tasting. Amber pour with a white head. Bland aroma. Just some sweet malt/caramel. A bit of grass, metal, and toast. Hints of citrus. Meh. Flavor is sweet caramel, grass, and toast. Metal, citrus peel, and a light acidity. No coffee is noticeable.

651mL. Clear, deep orange. Bubbles. Not real head formation. Nose is sweet, sticky candy. Taste is sticky orange, lemon tea, a bit bland with lemon acid. Huh. Drinkable, but no coffee. Not really BdG missing the dense malty backbone and dark bread. RespertFTW (520) - Michigan, USA - SEP 21, 2013
Bomber. Light copper color. Malt and coffee aroma. I thought the coffee flavor was subtle and nice. Really like this style beer. Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - SEP 20, 2013
Bomber. Copper with a small head. Caramel malt aromas. Big coffee and vanilla flavors. BBB63 (6567) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - SEP 4, 2013
Bottle and served in tulip: pours a deep amber hue with a lasting frothy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, some earthiness from the yeast, touch of green apple ester and just a bit of roasted coffee vapours. The taste is mildly grainy and sweet , light bitterness and even lighter coffee notes (if any to speak of) along with some earthy and flowery character. The mouthfeel is smooth and lively but not very crisp, sort of sits there. A bit of a letdown for I fully anticipated a more coffee forward brew. It is alright enough I guess, just not my cup of joe. wlajwl (7285) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 21, 2013
Aroma is fruit, malts and earthiness/a hint of coffee. The flavor is fruit, malts, earthiness, slight sour notes, a hint of coffee and a tangy/mildly tart finish.
