Cloudy light amber color, ssmall head. Nice aroma of toffee, fudge, biscuity malt. Some malt flavor, light residual sweetness, strong bitterness, but it tastes like infinitely old.
Since there is no BBD on the bottle, the brewery is to blame. Not very pleasant.
Bottle shared in Room 316 of the Tulip, Bodegraven, after day II of Borefts ’13, big thanks to Kenny for dragging this one further east and for his slap bass efforts on his thigh!
Clear dark golden amber with a good sized off white head.
Nose is caramel malt, hops, bitter grapefruit, orange.
Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, pine, orange pith, toasted malts.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, dry grassy finish with a good dose of hop bitterness.
Decent DIPA. mcberko (19803) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 9, 2015
22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty, with floral honeyed hops, syrupy caramel malts, and light spiciness. Flavour is on the sweet side, with caramel malts, floral and resinous hops. Perhaps a little old, though there’s no bottling date. Well-balanced and the malt profile carries this. harrisoni (19529) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2013
