A slightly hazy orange beer with a small orange head. The aroma is very hoppy and grassy, while the flavor is sweet hoppy - but a somewhat herbal hoppiness, that doesn’t quite do the trick for me. The mouthfeel is slightly sticky. joergen (28177) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2006
Bottle, thanks to René for sharing.
Hazy orange coloured with a medium sized white head.
Sweet aroma of flowers, fruits, malts and hops.
Sweet flavour of malts, fruits, hops and grape fruits.

Hazy orange colour with a tan head. Hoppy fruity aroma with hints of resin. Malty flavor that is well balanced with the hoppy resin flavor. Dry bitter aftertaste. A nice one. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 19, 2006
Bottled. Dark hazy orange colour, mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is hops and yeast. Flavour is hoppy, grassy and alcoholic. The alcohol and hops reaches their peaks in the finish and leave a wellbalanced flavour afterwards. omhper (25160) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 27, 2006
Bottled. Deep amber, minimal head. Fruity, flowery hop aroma. Dry and surprisingly light bodied. Very drinkable for it’s size. Pleasant lightly resiny notes mingle with sweaty grapefruit. Very bitter finish. Fresh and (given it’s size) very drinkable with all focus on the hops.

(Bottle 65 cl) Very unclear amber with a creamy, yellowish head. Fruity, sweetish hoppy nose. Full-bodied with some accents of caramel and a markedly bitter finish. 270106 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2012

Slight haze on this amber beer, good off white head. Slightly soft and slightly syrupy palate, Sweetish caramel malt backbone. Nice semi sweet hops. A little mango and orange with a trace of grapefruit. Cool pine notes. Minerals. Finishes soft and smooth. Hugely drinkable tasty beer delivered in a lovely palate. Delicious!
I’ve become a huge fan of the hops. The stronger the better it seems lately. So Hop Juice cam around at just the right time for me. I had this on tap at the Blind Tiger in NYC. Just a huge beer in every aspect.Poured a red, amber color with a slight but thick head. Smelled of hops and roasted malts. As I look back on my tasting notes, I read "Taste is like a rainbow hallucination." So there you go, it was a vast menagerie of hops with such dynamic flavors as citrus and caramel. Truly unreal: complex, satisfying - I couldn’t ask for a better IPA. Get your hands on this brew if you can. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 12, 2006

Dark amber color, bright. Powerful and balanced hop aroma, with resins and fruits, light soap, but in a pleasant way. Good body strength, full caramel and malt flavor, with enough sweetness, as I like; it has a very strong bitterness, with strong resins and light fruitness. Bold but at the same time well balanced. Excellent.

Amber color. Hoppy aroma, with some hospital alcohol. The hoppiness is huge, aggressive, barely balanced by the malt, but I love hops…
A: The pour is a vibrant copper color with a minimal white head forming and some mild carbonation bubbles.
S: The nose is a big burst of piney hops followed by some herbal and grassy notes. The malt is also quite pronounced here, providing quite a bit of caramel sweetness.
T: The flavor is quite bitter, but at the same time has a fair amount of sweetness. Light citrus hop flavors, but plenty of resinous pine. A touch of alcohol comes through at times.
M: The body is medium with a somewhat light carbonation that I’ll attribute to the growler.
D: This wasn’t the most drinkable DIPA, but it did have some nice flavors to it. Sort of intense in all areas, but doesn’t necessarily fit all together throughout the entire glass.
