22oz bottle to oversized duvel, from RR Lizardville. Nose is slightly orange and my wife scored it 3.5/5 so 7 it is, taste is more of the same a decidedly orangey flavor.. no tea to speak of though the drying effect hits your mouth a touch.. maybe thats what they were after.. decent IPA otherwise. Bottle and served in GI IPA tulip: Pours a clean deep golden hue with a lasting nice frothy head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of citrus and piney hops, light green tea, biscuity and caramel malts with a floral overtone. The taste is shockingly more bitter than expected and has a very heavy astringent tannic nature likely from the tea but seemingly from the grains as well. Moderately fruity and slightly spicey as well. The mouth feel is lively enough but the tannic overkill really ruins the drinkability of this beer. I was hoping for a refreshing summer beer like I had with the Brass Monkey Green Tea Pale Ale (RIP) back in 2008 but this was not up to my expectations. Pours a clear golden with a two finger sized head that sticks and leaves mild lacing. Mango, peaches, apricots, and grapefruit all stand out on the aroma. The first few sips didn’t work for me, but they began to work together well as I kept drinking. Nice balance to this one. A bitter grapefruit finish that lingers, ass well as that green tea that started to show. Very reminiscent of your typical Rye IPA. Good beer! Headbanger (4023) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 12, 2013
22oz bottle 6/12/13 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-46° in Shaker-Pours a clear orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste of the same with more hops. This medium bodied brew hides is very good and you can taste the tea very faintly on the back end. NIce job. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Sample from a bomber shared by a very nice Californian female beer geek at the Dilly Deli. Clear golden orange color. Thin slightly off-white head. Couple loose bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Softer, smooth carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Nice lightly spicy thai-style herbs, lemon grass, some light caramel malt. Moderate bitter, light sweet, light spice. Very interesting stuff. I just wish it was bigger on the hop than the caramel malt. Girl that shared it seemed to agree

22 oz. bottle. Pours bright pale orange with a soapy white head that disappears to a tiny film and soapy collar. Aroma has sweet herbal candied red apple some tea and resinous hop scents. Taste is bitter sticky hops which are floral and tropical candy and very herbal with caramel malt and subtle spice in the finish. Palate is medium somewhat sticky and drying. This is tasty and the green tea does wonders to what I find sweet herbal candied fruit and spice with some rye as well. andyhwcinc (1886) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Purchased at Evolution Liquors in Chicago, IL, enjoyed on a nice Saturday before Blackhawks game 5. The label art for this is awesome, laughing drunk panda. Appearance is a clear moderate gold with a rich white head. Aroma is light on hops with a delicate floral smell. Taste goes down dry, the green tea is subtle and has a nice balance to counteract the hop bitterness. Nothing too crazy about this one, its good and solid. hopheadsbrew (143) - Illinois, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Orange golden color. Thick fluffy white head. Medium high carbonation. Smells of tea and hops. Good citrusy sweetness for flavor. Long lasting hop aftertaste with tea flavors to follow. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2013
22 oz. bottle. Pours a chill-hazed orange with a thick creamy white head. Nice, herbal hop aroma that is accentuated by the notes of green tea. Some citrus notes as well. Flavor is foral and herbal, showcasing the green tea. Interesting. Delicious. Medium, almost creamy body. Good beer.
