COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An incredibly drinkable ale, light in body but full of flavor. Oaky notes blend with the complex balance of malt and hops. This is a beer you can enjoy for the long haul.

Moderate carbonation when cold. The oak is clear and unmistakable, but it works well because there is no bourbon in it. Lots of malt and some grain character, but no hops and that is fine for a mild. A session beer for sure, I do like it.

From a bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small, white foam ring around the edge of my glass. Nose is tart and fruity with a hint of oak. Flavor is caramel malt and some spice. Much different than what i anticipated from the aroma, but still really quite good. Very sessionable!

Bottle. Dark orange pour, very little carbonation and a nice aroma of orange marmalade. Flavor is light malts, balanced orange citrus and finished pleasantly sweet. Will definitely be buying more of this.

Bottle. Pour is dark cooper with minimal head. Aroma is mild juicy fruit and sugary malt. Taste is spice and sugary malt with a gritty dry finish. Palate is bitter spice which finishes gritty dry. Good, but will probably forget to tell anyone about it.

Copper color with a seemingly everlasting head. Light floral hop aroma with hints of malt. Light maltiness, very easy on the oak. Moderate to high carbonation. Finishes dry. Very simple, but a solid session.

Deep, deep amber color. Not much aroma that I can pick up. The first drink is just goofy...perhaps it is way too much oak. This is unlike most any other beer I’ve every had. Very cream mouthfeel that lingers a bit. It is a nice balance except that the "oak" flavor is too overwhelming.

Pours a cloudy orange gold color with a white head. Taste of fruit and hops. Quite an average beer. 12 oz. bottle

Enjoyed on draft at Goose Island Clybourn in Chicago, I also had this at Two Brothers’ Hop Juice release party in draft form. Aroma is of fruity strawberry and malt, appearance is amber with good head retention. Taste is malty with tart fruit finish, definitely taste some form of preserves, like a strawberry jam finish. Pretty good stuff, would enjoy again.

Copper pour with a short lived off white head. Spotty lace. Aroma is toasty, cereal, biscuits. Malty with nice bitterness. Light vanilla flavor late..
