Bottle - not much head, medium amber color, sweet malty aroma and flavor, can taste actual oaky notes too; not a bad beer at all oobawa (1653) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 15, 2012
So this beer seems to be an oak-aged light beer, a beer so mild in flavor that it makes me wonder what’s the point of it all. Not much of a hop presence, yet the malts don’t appear either, and the oak aftertaste comes across odd rather than appealing. Skip it. saxo (19272) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2012
Bottle from Beer Table Pantry, Grand Central. Medium head with medium duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, wood, malt, notes of fruits and hops. Light sourness from the french oak. scarletfire65 (1491) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 26, 2012
Draft at Rattle N’ Hum. Notes of roasted malt, vanilla, maybe a bit of oak if you use your imagination, light watery palate, clean and dry finish. Definitely a beer to drink all day long, so in that respect it was successful. A true session ale. But if you only have time for one or two, skip it. Bottle poured an amber color, with a medium sized off-white head, and active carbonation. Aroma of floral notes, dark fruit, vanilla, and oak. Similar taste of berries, black currant, and malt. Very refreshing and drinkable with a smooth finish. Perfect for lounging on a summer day.

Draft at rattle n hum. Pours brown with an inch of white foam that leaves a lot of lacing. Not much on the nose. Taste has some tartness to it and it finishes with a tiny amount of citrus. Solid but not something I’d put back all night. jredmond (8508) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 10, 2012
Draft at top hops with Linh and ken. Pours a deep mahogany body with no head. Aroma and flavor of grass, grain and vanilla. Bland, but somewhat drinkable. Steve_0 (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Bottle. Poured a clear amber, with no head. Smell is caramel, bread, biscuit, and light citrus. Taste is much the same with touches of caramel, bread, rye, light lemon, and a lightl bitter finish. Thin body with lively carbonation. Refreshing on a hot summer day, but pretty straightforward and kind of boring. Meh. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Amber with white head and nice lacing. Citrus, lemon, mild caramel, and and floral aroma. Full bodied, mild bitterness, lemon, creamy texture, and caramel balance.
