Tap at Blind Tiger, NYC. Pours copper with a strong, white head. Holds a light malt aroma with floral hops. Lighly sweet, bready with some reserved bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes semi-dry, sweet with faint hops. I’d say this is an OK beer, and I do really enjoy milds. saxo (18422) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2012
Bottle from Beer Table Pantry, Grand Central. Medium head with medium duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, wood, malt, notes of fruits and hops. Light sourness from the french oak. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 21, 2011
A: The pour on this beer is amber in color with a thin layer of off-white head.
S: A really funky nose on this beer. Some light tartness and fruit with quite a lot of oak. There is a bit of hop character and some sweet bready and toffee malts. Not sure what to make of this.
T: The flavor is actually sort of nice. Some lightly tart apple flavor which is quite enjoyable. A light maltiness of bread and toffee. Again, there is a big time oak character.
M: Light to medium in body with a medium carbonation.
O: Really a strange beer. The idea just doesn’t make any sense to me. Tmoney99 (14494) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2011

Relaly only good when you start getting through the bottle. It starts pretty hoppy but also rubbery, the rubber goes away and turns into slight sweetness, bread, and oak. deyholla (11605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 10, 2011
On tap. Poured a hazy chestnut with a ruby hue and a tan head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was malty with grain and hay being the main notes. There was underlying light fruits and caramel.
