Tap at Blind Tiger. Pours thick black with a strong, tan head. Heavy roasted malt aroma with cocoa powder, dark chocolate and dark fruits. Sweet flavor with dark malts and chocolate, along with some faint bitterness. Full in body with average carbonation. Finishes sweet with lingering dry roast. Very decent Imperial Stout. kerenmk (5169) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUN 9, 2012
Bottle sample at beerandbeyond farewell tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks zvikar. Coke colour, cloudy, some off-white foam. Cask, wood, soft cherry aroma, wooden soft bitterness. Light body, dry finish, wooden hints. WLG423 (201) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Aromas of lemon and coffee. Flavors of caramel, whole grains, with a rich finish. An enjoyable imperial stout. rxeight (3248) - Illinois, USA - NOV 2, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 25, 2012 2012 bottle fresh. Very dark opaque black. This thing is is jam packed with dark roasted malts and then fades to a nice sweet chocolate. Bit of coffee in there too. I’v had this before, but I dont remember it being this good. I would put this on par with Breakfast stout. Also the imperial stout deal of the century. I’ve paid over $10 for a bomber this good. But it came in a Costco variety case 4 diferent 6 packs for $25. dutch23mp (317) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - JAN 12, 2013
for an imperial stout very smooth and the high Alc content is really hidden. Just a really good crafted brew. High marks for the overall taste and after taste on this local brew

Bottle, pour is black and oily, thin brown head that fades. Aroma is heavy roasted malt, coffee, some cocoa, light lemon and grass. Taste is rich malt, roasted and burnt, some citrus from hops, cocoa in the back. Heavy enough to linger on your tongue, but not too sticky. Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Deep dark brown pour. Medium sized brown foamy head on top of a black colored beer.
Aromas of oatmeal, roast, raisin, some malts come through, some iron, hint of something sweet and a hint of creamy bay leaf.
Flavours of roast, oatmeal, caramel, malts, light roast to more toast, some mocha, some raisin, light bitter, some chocolate and a creamy edge. Very nice!
Aftertaste is roasty, toasty, malty, light chocolate, oatmeal and some grainy toast.
Low carbo, creamy oily close to silky mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and an oily texture. Nice beer, creamy, round, balanced! gene2002 (4) - Indiana, USA - DEC 21, 2014 does not count
The beer has hints of coffee, but it’s a bit rough compared to most imperial stouts I’ve had. very drinkable but could be more smooth. Black and tan head aroma is of roast coffee. SK0RL0RD (12) - Iowa, USA - FEB 11, 2015
Bold and rich, with a unexpectedly sweet finish that doesn't end. Easily the smoothest 9.1 ABV that I've ever tasted.

A highly drinkable stout. It's surprising given the ABV. Inoffensive yet complex. Straightforward and well-crafted. Mainstream but that makes it drinkable.
