Pours orange with a fine, white head. Woo! Really spicy and sweet. Mild sour aftertaste. Aroma is sweet and almost nutty in a strange way to me. Very good and spicy. BeerVirgin72 (880) - Pickerington, Ohio, USA - JUL 5, 2009
Bottle shared at Muckfest 2009 in Lancaster Ohio. Cloudy copper pour. Sweet malty and yeasty aroma. Flavor was nice, lemony, honey, citrius, with a slight peppery finish. Very nice. heemer77 (5361) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUL 26, 2005
Thanks for the bottle, Duane. I was expecting a lot after enjoying Hop Juice. Hazy medium gold colored body. The aroma is Granny Smith apples with cinnamon and some light mango. The taste is warm peach pie with cinnamon. There is also some tart cherries in the finish. This is toward the fruity end of tripels, but not overly sweet. The body is smooth and relatively thin for the style. This is a beer that begs to be savored. Decent. Tripplebrew (778) - Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA - JUN 7, 2008
Pours a hazy golden lemon yellow with very light head. Mostly just white lacing. Aroma yeasty and honey. Notes of banana for the rich fruitiness of it. Flavor is banana and yeast with notes of spice. Body is medium but carbonation is fairly light. stankenk (130) - Maplewood, Minnesota, USA - JUN 28, 2008
Pours a hazy yellow. Very strong nose of banana and spices. It comes across the palate as the with a strong banana and a light spice to it. It has a slight bitter after taste.

Pour is a cloudy oranger-red with a small white head. Aroma is a nice mix of banana and candi sugar. Flavor is very yeasty and fruity with a bit of the candi sugar and some spice.
It leaves a little funk after the swallow. Probably not a spot on example of the style but this is still a tasty beer. tennisjoel (1496) - Rochester, Minnesota, USA - AUG 27, 2008
Bomber rating. Pour is golden orange with a thin white head. Aromas: Apricot, honey, orange, and light biscuit. Mouthfeel is sticky, but the flavors are nice and bold. My only complaint here is that the beer seems a little undercarbonated for the style. Because of that, the flavor is almost a little too sweet, and not balanced out by higher carbonation. Generally I am disappointed with American versions of belgian beers, yet this one is more spot on than many of its american competitors. For that, I give it props. cking (1175) - North Canton, Ohio, USA - OCT 27, 2008
Bomber shared amongst some newly found friends during my initial meeting down at the local Jazz Club. Poured a very cloudy light orange with a thin head and touches of mild lacing. Estery aroma of funky banana, spicy cloves, pepper and fresh yeast. Thick and filling, it’s a warm sipper. Nice flavor that is true to the Tripel style, nothing overdone and a touch tame as long as you take your time. Earthy and sweet with some musty hops and fermented fruits. Decent, not near to top of my list but it was tasty. MrRain (542) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 26, 2008
22oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. TBOBTA pours light tangerine-colored with a smallish head. The beer is hazy and quite pretty. The aroma is subtle pear and sweet apple cider. The body is light but neither crisp nor oily. The taste is very cider-like with natural fruit sugar flavors. The Pilsener body adds a nice twist to this tripel. The finish is lingering and sweet, not unlike a wine. hayduke (5731) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 5, 2009
UPDATED: MAY 6, 2009 From a 22 oz bottle obtained in a trade with Eric in Indiana this poured a rich orange color with some haze, a nice white head, and excellent lacing. Big nose of ripe fruit with banana and clove. Rich mouthfeel. Flavor is malty with a little tartness and nice spicy finish. Very drinkable.
