On tap. Gold color with a average white head. Good tropical hop aroma and taste with a mild bitter finish. Nice but nothing distinctive. esoxangler (100) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 12, 2013
good nose to it, really average everything else. kind of too malty not enough hoppy in my opinion. Tortman18 (174) - Batavia, Illinois, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Clear golden with a half finger of white head. Very minimal carbonation. Aroma is bitter and hoppy. Citrus hops, grapefruit, pineapple and resin. Mouth is hoppy. Citrus hops and resin. Very sticky finish. Not much going on here. Sperine (283) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Can. At the time, I had a very hard time getting on board the can revolution because all beers I had tasted from cans had been incredibly bland. This was no exception. (Fortunately, this has changed since.) Ed5388 (3488) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - MAY 3, 2013
12oz can. Pours a deep golden color with a finger of white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, sweet malt, and some floral hops. Taste is much the same. Mostly citrus hops, some floral notes, and caramel malt on the back end.

Aroma is light but I’m getting some floral notes. Flavor is floral, citrus, and pretty malty. Not a bad beer by any means but I kind of feel like this one is a little light for an Ipa. Leafs93 (2332) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2013
Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is citrus, caramel and grass. Taste is bitter with substantial sweetness. Medium bodied with sticky finish. thegreenrooster (4516) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - APR 20, 2013
On cask. Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is decently hopped with some notes of caramel. Flavor is ever better. A big mango fruityness with just caramel malt to give this some body. I thought this was a damn fine Ipa. Maybe the cask version trumps the can. hondajunkie (90) - Tinley Park, Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2013
12 oz. Can pours a cloudy amber leaving a 1 finger khaki head with good lacing.
A: sweet, sugary citrus, hint of lemongrass, bready malt.
M: med carbonation, citrus up front followed by creamy, bready malt with virtually no hop presence at all. If this is a take on a West Coast IPA then they got the malt part mostly right, but the hop part is missing. Almost doesn’t even taste like a IPA. Sadly, was hoping for a nice hop bitterness but that was sorely lacking. patrick767 (4095) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 31, 2013
can - Pours hazy orange with a one finger well lacing head. It has a very citrus rich hop aroma. The flavor is surprisingly sweet up front with crisp hops bitterness following. It’s medium bodied. Fairly good.
