Can at home ... golden amber ... amber ... massive white head ... dry soft toffee nose ... soft dry toffee caramel malt ... big big bitter ... not me Oakes (18873) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 1, 2014
Bright amber, rocky head. Aroma has a touch of amber toastiness, clean piney hop with a touch of grapefruit. Clean brew...has that neutered character, but I like the slightly toasty malts like a delicate addition of crystal, and the piney hops with moderate bitterness provides good balance. Can poured a hazy orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit zest and light candied orange. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of biscuit, orange zest and light grapefruit with a smooth lightly bitter lingering citrus finish. Tmoney99 (14985) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2012
Draft. Poured a hazy copper color with an average ceeamy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met. Stuu666 (14881) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 1, 2014

Citrusy and carmally. For a "balanced" ipa this one is pretty good. Would like to try it on tap. BeerandBlues2 (13823) - Escondido, California, USA - DEC 17, 2013
Can at home. Pours clear dark amber with a large, frothy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is earthy, herbal, and woody hops with biscuit and honey malt, pear, peach, and apple esters. Flavor is heavy hops and moderate bitterness with supporting lightly sweet honey malt, light fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pours a clear orange color with a medium fluffy white head that dissipates slowly. Small patches of sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal hops and fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of grassy hops, caramel malt and overripe fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Just average overall. j12601 (13123) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 21, 2012
