Bottle. Chocolate caramel malt and hay aroma. Clear brown with moderate head. Mildly sweet chocolate toffee malt and lightly bitter hay flavor. Very nice. jsquire (4621) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Deep amber color with a foamy khaki colored head that left lots of sticky lace. Nice warm toasted malt nose with some earthy hop notes. Sweet beer with brown sugar, caramel, and some cinnamon toast. Light hop in the finish. Nice beer for an incredibly long winter. Tmoney99 (15035) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2014
Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium to heavy sweet malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium dark sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. This beer met my expectations.
