Pours deep red hue with a small soapy eggshell head and sparse lacing. Flavors are sweet caramel malt big bitter hops lite alcohol. The main thing is its a bit too sweet. Big bold bitterness on the finish with a slick big mouth feal. Big alcohol notes as well. Decent yet unrefined.

Malty honey sweet aroma with dark fruit and some booze. Beautiful dark red color with a sticky ivory colored head. Tastes honey like as well, with slightly bitter hops soon to follow. A little bitterness in the aftertaste. Good smooth palate with a good amount of carbonation. This is really good. Why can’t imperial red ale or red ale in general be it’s own category? Pours a rich red amber color with a long lasting beige head. Nose is sweet caramel, toffee and malt. Taste is sweet and fruity, with a nice confluence of heavy malt and lighter hops. Draft at The Brass Tap - U Square, served in a flight. Pours a mostly clear orange-amber with a moderate off-white head that laces the glass while settling into a ring and an island of film. Citrus and tropical fruits, with caramel, faint rye, wheat, juicyfruit gum, and resin. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, resinous, malty mouthfeel.
