Clear, red mahogany. Minimal light tan head. Caramel. Light vanilla. Bitter, sweet. Medium body, not much effervescence. Good.

Bottle at the Lincoln WIne Bar. I havent loved Two Brothers beers too much, but this is really good. Tons of caramel sweetness balanced with a nice hop edge at the end. Strong in flavor with a bit of alcohol warmth.

Rich and malty body of sweet caramel and charred toffee, finishing with a chalky, funky aftertaste.

Nice foggy amber orange color with a huge pale orange head that fades quickly, tons of lacing. Piney, citrusy aroma with a malt backbone. Sweet flavor, not much bitterness. The label says 124 ibus, fooled me. Pretty nice beer!

Draft at Bierstube. Tulip. Mostly clear dark amber pour with a good amount of off-white foam. Lots of lace. Sweet succulent mix of medium toasted caramel malts and stone fruit with a strong hop bite. Apricot pits. Mandarin peels. Dried dates and figs. Brown sugar candies. Peat. Challah. Autumn leaves. Apple seeds. Wildflower honey. Burnt butterscotch. Artichokes. Dandelions. Crystallized ginger. Passionfruit. Hot peppers. Turpentine. Feels big and syrupy but has enough hops and tannins to make the finish dry and astringent. Deep rich spicy candied varnish.

Sample at Hopfest 2015. Comes reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma of fruit, malt, and pine. Taste is caramel malt, citrus, pine, and alcohol. Interesting.

Full, slightly sweet taste with a nice malt finish. STRONG ale, for certain. Has a medium reddish color, with good lacing. Excellent strong ale.

Pours a very nice dark amber/copper color with minimal head retention, but nice lacing. Smells sweet and malty, with a hint of floral notes in the background. Maybe rose? Tastes sweet and malty up front with a nice smooth finish. An outstanding red!

Bottle. Clear gold pour with a small head that fades to a messy ring and leaves some minor lacing. Aroma is a great mix of hops and malt. Candied citrus, caramel, pine, butterscotch and light chocolate. Tastes surprisingly more bitter than sweet. Sharp pine and onion hops, light juicy citrus, strong caramel malt. Medium body. Very good.

Aroma of OJ, pine, booze, caramel. Flavor: wow, really really great! Big resin with caramel malts in background. Bitterness is obviously there, but despite being 124 IBUs, it doesnt overwhelm like I was expecting. Amazing job there. ABV is well-concealed, but the heavy, syrupy thick mouthfeel will ensure this isnt quaffed too quickly. Best enjoyed and savored one big slow sip at a time. VERY strong ale for sure.
